What a shame. This is the newsagent/book shop/stationer that I grew up with.
Nowadays they close at random times during the day. I had thought they were understaffed but now I think they might just do it to stop school kids going in in the afternoon.
Whatever the reason, I think of WHSmith when I urgently need some envelopes, a gift card or something like that.
If I can?t count on them being open during their published opening hours I?ll simply take my business elsewhere.

I have Been to this store a number of times.Whilst it has a decent selection of books and it is well stocked generally. The staff can barely communicate or smile at customers. I suggest WHS Smith rethinks it's recruitment policy!

It is full of books , comic books and stationeries which are essential for school , college and university. All of there products are useful because I have bought a scientific calculator which work really well time after time but shop is small. The employees are friendly , responsible , respectful , responsive , understanding and quick people who will help you with anything. The place is clean , tidy , modern and full of things that you need to use. I know it is small but it worth going to buy what you need in there so go there and buy your things from there for good. You will make long life friends. Their stamps really good to buy because it is better than ordinary stamps with their own designs and looks that they have on there for good.

It's strange really. I rarely go, but whenever I do I am invariably hooked, browsing books, magazines and often buying lots of stuff. I usually go in for stationary items like folders, birthday cards, glue sticks and staples and so on, but end up buying books and magazines. It's a great resource to have on the high street, when all is said and done.
