I went into smyths this morning in Loughton to buy a pack of prismatic evolutions as they got realised. (11/3/25)
I happened to bump into my neighbour who offered to give me a lift home as we?re both collectors and my neighbour went before me and I went after.
Before I even kindly asked the man (his name was Adam according to the receipt) for a box he rudely interrupted me and with an aggressive like behaviour said ?are you two together ??
Now I looked at my neighbour and said no ?
Then he proceeds to ask my neighbour in an aggressive way ?are you together?? In which my neighbour replies ?she?s my neighbour I?m giving her a life home?
I understand the whole 1 pack per customer but we paid separately and Adam?s behaviour was extremely rude and although I hate to give a negative review I think Adam should not take his aggressive behaviour out on any paying customers especially women.
I felt so upset that he spoke to me in that way and I?m all for following the right procedures when it comes to stock realises but my goodness there was no need to be so incredibly rude.
I hope that know one else has to encounter his shudder behaviour today as it wasn?t pleasant to say the least.

We have been in here a few times and love how many toys and games they have. It is rare to be able to visit such a large and clean toy store, it is much better than just buying from Amazon and not being able to see and try out products. They also have a lot of display of prams and big baby items such as cots, mattresses etc..The staff we have encountered have always been friendly. Today Tom and Michael helped us and they were very attentive.We did click and collect and that was simple and fast( don?t forget to take ID). They also helped us with some lego queries and we purchased a few toys in store(our inner child were released :)

A toy was next to a sale sign or 7.99 when checking receipt was charged 19.99. So went back to query this. I was told it was for a different item. Fair enough. However - the manager SAM was very rude to me. Saying do you want a refund or not. Being very rude infront of other customers. So much so they pointed it out to me aswell. Very upsetting considering how much money I spend here!! Won?t be back. Need to learn some manners. And also organise your shelves correctly to stop that happening again. All the reviews about the manger

Store?s manager acts like an angsty teenager, plus theres this weird no kids without a parent policy, which id get with like a 9 year old kid, but im 16 and can legally serve in the military and fight in war but im apparently to young to go into a toy store without my parents
