This post office is hardworking friendly and helpful. I think the poor reviews on here are harsh. If you treat people nicely they treat you back the same. The team here (including Abdul, Leanne and Steve) are very happy to put themselves out and have a sense of humour if you engage with them as humans and not like they're robots behind glass. Maybe the poor reviews say more about the reviewer, just a thought. Thank you post office team. What with my bank, Barclays, closing, I need you more than ever.

Although some of the staff are friendly and helpful - this post office is let down by a couple of consistently rude staff. I recently attended to ask for a stamp swap out form. I was told they were out of the forms and to go onto the Royal Mail website. I think it wasn't the fact that they had run out of forms that was the issue but more the way she spoke to me. From the other reviews this seems a common thread.

I just want to redeem my voucher at the post office,and the lady was so rude,and made me feel really uncomfortable,she doubt I was the person on my ID,then she said if I had any more evidence with me.I wish this post office was closed for ever.I will never come there again.

Steve, Haroon, Meena, Harsha and Leanne, they always do their best and they have even exceeded their responsibilities. They have even been nice to me even when I?ve ran into them in the streets, and they have no obligation to be nice to customers out of the office. Steve even took my package to the post office while I was walking my dog because I had full hands. That?s someone who cares about people, not just a job. I only have good words for the team. They look after me and my business shippings, they?re friendly and care about their customers.I don?t know why people are writing negative comments about the post office team. You receive what you give. I?ve been in Loughton for the past two years and everyone in this town is so lovely.Thanks guys, you ALWAYS do a great job for me and my customers.Sandra (the flower girl) :)

I would give no stars if I could - the older asian man who works in here treated my 83 year old mother in the most disgusting manner when she couldn?t fill in a form properly due to her poor eyesight. Shame on him - I came in to confront him but he wasn?t working at the time.I would like to add that there are other people who work there who don?t follow his example thank goodness, and treat customers properly.My mother was almost in tears and I shall also be making a formal complaint to the Royal Mail.

Rude and inconsistent service. Apparently each clerk works to a different set of rules. There are some nice people who work there, but none were in when I visited today. The old guy who served me blatantly lied to my face and the woman sat next to him (who has served me previously) just sat there with her mouth shut. Total waste of my time.

Man alive, I really thought the reviews were exaggerated. I don't think i've faced such rude service or treatment since i was a child in the 1p sweet shop where only 2 kids allowed and we were a three. Breath-taking rudeness. Almost fun to try and deal with it (in a masochistic way.)
