They never answer the phone, I have tried on numerous attempts to find out when they are doing the walk in COVID jabs, if at all, but every time a recorded message says the pharmacy is busy regardless of the time of day of even the day of the week.

I waited for over an hour on the phone to my doctor only to be told they couldn't help and I was to speak to my local Chemist, After one quick phone call to Day Lewis Pharmacy a really helpful chap sorted the problem for me. Thank you.

Have been with the pharmacy for over 30 yrs. Seen it being taken over to who are with now. Friendly staff which have been there a long time . In the days of Leach and Burton.
They have tried to keep up with public demand. Fitted a pick hub after hours, but bulky medicine won't fit, and no longer open Saturdays which I think would give it 5 stars. Consulting room for private chats. You need to make sure when ordering medication you fit it in within the 5 days Monday to Friday.

Staff are very friendly however service is always slow and they have started waiting until just before closing time on a Friday to send the text notifications about prescriptions being ready when they are then closed until Monday. This has happened to my parents and myself multiple times in past months. Yesterday I had a text at 17:55 and now have to wait until Monday to collect it. Fortunately I always ask for my repeat prescriptions when I have about a week?s supply left to counter this.

My local pharmacy. After a stressful week with ZERO empathy or compassion from anyone at the NHS, my local GP, 111, even at the hospital, somehow it was the staff at this place that showed the most humanity. Specifically the pharmacist himself as well as a woman named "Abbie". If it wasn't for the genuine concern they had shown I'd likely of gotten so ill I'd be missing a limb at the point of my writing this. The only way I know of showing my gratitude to them is with this review.
