Great spot on the seaside in Leigh. Service was prompt even though it was busy and the food was excellent.

We?ve recently dined at The Peterboat, especially outside when the sun is out.
The staff are always very accommodating and the menu has a large selection including seafood and fish dishes.
I found the seafood platter slightly undersized for the cost but then again everything has gone up in price.
We highly recommend The Peterboat and great for larger gatherings.

I haven?t comes to the Peter about in years, so I thought it was a nice sunny day so I?d come and have something to eat.
I just found it was very expensive for what it was fish and chips was nearly £20 and I was only sitting on the wooden bench. Think I would more likely just go there for a drink but wouldn?t eat again.

The Peterboat doesn?t disappoint, it?s a great local place to take friends and family when they come to visit as they accommodate large groups quite well. The staff are great, excellent service and so is the food.
The only small detail I would say is that in the summer if you?re sat at the back in the restaurant it did feel a bit too hot.
