The best pub ever!! So friendly and welcoming to everyone, local or first visit. None of the ?village clique? we have experienced so often at many other pubs. We genuinely couldn?t ask for a better local village pub. Not to mention the most beautiful pub dog Roux? Melodie?s a beautiful soul whose roasts are 10/10 and Ian is the friendliest, most kind, landlord you could possibly wish for! We?ve always felt more than welcome and the Red Lion really gives us the village pub feel we we?re needing / wanting ??

I started to think British Pub culture was dying out, but since moving to this village I found it?s very much still alive and kicking. The Landlord and Lady made us feel like regulars from the moment we stepped in. Top Pub, Great Sunday Roasts and an even better Pub Dog! Shoutout to Roux!

I would like to leave this review as the landlord his wife and the locals are all an amazing bunch. My car broke down outside this pub on Thursday night and they came out to help me. Looked at my car. Pushed my car into their car park. Offered me to come into the warm. Asked if there was anything they could do. Offered me tea or coffee.
A beautiful friendly pub and people. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you so much.

We popped into the red lion whilst passing by for a sunday lunch and were pleasantly surprised! It is a lovely dog friendly pub with amazing food and great friendly staff. We had the roast beef, which is great value with big portions and proper home cooked quality. Good selection of beers on draught.
I only wish this was my local pub as I'd be down here a lot!

A friend suggested we had lunch here. Although though the staff were rushed off of their feet, the welcome was warm and genuine, the service was well placed and the food was fantastic. Special care was taken for my complex issue with diary - complete confidence in eating here with allergies/intolerances.

Perfect little village pub, staff are friendly and full of friendly locals aswell. Lots of different events each week and a nice garden.

The food was shocking, Both mine and my partners chicken burger was rock hard and had been done in the microwave. There was also a small hair in my chicken burger.
The lady we spoke to seemed lovely but unfortunately the food was just not great at all.
Would not go back.

Nice pub with friendly staff and locals, and a gorgeous pub dog. The pub and facilities were very clean and dog friendly. We had smashed lamb shish kebabs in a burger bun, with salad garnish and chips, really tasty.Parking: Level, gravel car park.
