As per the Derbyshire Jet Setter review. The food was terrible ted cabbage burnt. Lamb more fat than meat, potatoes brown lumps of rock. When the waiting staff started to say at 1 o'clock we have run out of beef bells began to ring. Our mistake for not leaving then. The waiting staff did all they could to keep the service...

We are a lunch club of 12 mature ladies. We don't mind paying top money for good food but at Lovejoys not one of us had a meal we could eat. Firstly they ran out of roast beef, on a Sunday? We were booked for 12.30 so not a late booking which might have been understandable. The potatoes were so hard we couldn't cut them...
