A very enjoyable Sunday lunch. Delicious roast beef and roast turkey presented very well with friendly and professional service.
This charming pub is a true gem, steeped in 16th century history with full of character . We were there for a drink and dine. Whether eating inside or outside, you will be surrounded by beauty.
The staff is polite and attentive, going above and beyond to provide a wonderful eating and drinking experience.
The wine selection was impressive, offering something for every palate, French Provence Rose wine was our fab
Overall, eating and drinking at this pub was a pleasure from beginning to end.

Pleasant but somewhat overly priced.

We randomly found the Bear online and went for a spontaneous dinner after work.
We were greeted by Jenna with a friendly smile and she was super accommodating all evening.
She recommended the king prawn linguine and it was our favourite! The prawns were fresh and the hand pulled noodles soaked in all the chilli sauce! 10/10 ?
-1 star for the apple crumble dessert, the apple filling was too liquidy and the crumble was too hard.
But overall, we loved the chilled vibes sitting outside at the Bear and the amazing service from Jenna!

His retirement Lunch with the family! ... The Bear is our go to favourite place .... they just get it right here on all levels time after time after time ...thank you for a superb lunch and a really lovely relaxed afternoon.

Really enjoyed the food. There was a great selection on the menu, and a children's menu also available. I found the dining room a bit too formal, but with slightly odd service. Would opt to eat in the main pub in future. Will definitely be returning.

9 of us went for Sunday dinner yesterday.
The starters were really tasty.
The only downside of the roast dinner is that it was like roast soup with the amount of gravy added.
We personally believe that hey should let people add their own gravy.
The gravy ruined the presentation and taste.
Desserts were nice.
Would not go again for a roast dinner.

My wife and I stopped for lunch. Excellent sea bass and crayfish risotto and a caesar salad. We would eat here again if we come back to Stock.
