I was there last week with my grandmother. Neither of us though much of our starters and mains, very overpriced for the quality you get. Positives are that the pub really is very pretty and it has a nice garden, it is also in an attractive location

The absolute best meal I've had since moving to Essex.
Nothing more wholesome than traditional pub grub with a fine dining twist.
We had the vegetarian toad in the hole (Meat option available too)
The Yorkshire pudding was crisp and delicious, the sausages cooked perfectly and the gravy was fantastic.
