Walked into co op for a nice drink,,always use this shoo..approx £1.50 is for a hot drink.Without a notice on the drinks machine, the cashier said £2 pls..Questionable, why the increase so ..I stated, other places 1.30 ..tesco meal deal 3.00. Why so expensive,,she just shrugged and that's the way it is like it or lump it.. bad service.

It's what you would expect from a local shop.

Useful for items you may have missed off your main big shop each week, but unrealistic to carry out a regular shop due to prices compares to bigger local supermarkets. They have a range of items and a couple of doors up is the Co-Op off license. The shop is accessible for wheel chair users although the layout is very cramped and those who are hard of walking may struggle to get round.Staff are friendly, mostly students from the local secondary schools and colleges.Collect + drop off is available for Very and Amazon returns although on a number of occasions it simply just hasn't worked from this shop.

Very handy little shop! Always have a stock of everything that I have needed. The new layout is much better and everything is now a lot easier to find. Not so keen on all the bread being out in the open after seeing someone knock over the French sticks and putting them back up again and then another older fella coughing in that direction while I was queuing to pay, but I guess you get a bit of that wherever you go. Only other issue for me is the parking. Had to queue up for about 10 minutes waiting for a space but this is to be expected in a little town like Hockley. Overall: very good.
