Superb lunch! I went for the set menu which didn't disappoint. The pea and broad bean risotto was sublime.
Plenty of parking, great service - highly recommended.

Very good on most occasions. Have only been unhappy on one out of ten visits. Set 2 and 3 course menu is good value, and deals available mid week.

It's a Popular and well used pub, in a beautiful old building surrounded by fields. well worth stopping by for a drink, there is parking along the main Roman road and up the side as well. Lovely beer and good service.

Nice clean, maintained and well run pub with wooden beams and oldly worldy feel to it. Food here very good, well cooked and nicely presented. I would recommend the chicken supreme and for deserts the strawberry cheesecake, sticky toffee pudding or the mini doughnuts and drink. Arrive early as parking is limited and as the pub is on a main road there is no close alternative parking.

A great place to eat, lovely roast dinner and a special offer on Mondays. The Garlic prawns were also very decent for a non seaside, rural area. The staff were attenttive and friendly and the whole restaurant and pub is immaculately clean. They also have a really nice marquee and dining area for functions with beautiful decor. Parking is easy. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed my roast dinner so much I totally forgot to take a picture of it! Lovely friendly warm and welcoming pub - with great service and properly delicious food as well as lovely countryside views - also has a pretty outdoor marquee for events etc. highly recommend we?ll definitely be coming back! ? (just beware there?s a few axe and compasses in the area so make sure you have the right one!)

A pub in the traditional sense without TVs and fruit machines. Good food, good service, very pleasant ambience, great value overall, particularly on their 'steak Thursday'. Two burgers for one on Tuesday too. Recommended.
