Hmmm. Crab sandwich was made with supermarket bread, a few scattered crisps, a tiny spoonful of supermarket coleslaw and one lettuce leaf. Really not good enough for the price.

Went for a quick pint and asked for a Stella. 100% this was not a standard Stella. Tasted like wheat beer. When asking them if it was Stella they checked and said it was. I know my beers. The Jolly Sailor is a charming country pub and family restaurant, located in the village of Heybridge Basin overlooking the Blackwater Estuary in Essex. Situated near the Blackwater and Chelmer Navigation Canal Lock Gates, it makes for pleasant trips on the river or canal, or leisurely strolls to the historic town of Maldon.
We have an outside patio, sea food bar and a Barbecue area available through from spring to autumn, subject to weather.
