Food really good! Tasty, good quality, cooked well by a proper chef (rare nowadays). Would go back for the food. The location is remote and the atmosphere can be a bit flat due to the lack of people in a big space. Wheelchair access is good overall but please note there is no accessible WC.

Honestly best mushrooms on toast I?ve ever had (perfect poached eggs too) -high praise indeed. French toast was delicious too. Definitely going back.

Had a lovely breakfast at this hidden gem near Maldon to celebrate my wife?s Birthday. My kippers were top drawer.
Service was good, the place was very neat and tidy, clearly the staff are concerned with how things look.

Ordered hash browns a fried egg and a sausage...was told the kitchen couldn't put it on one plate..so out came 1 sausage poking out of a small bowl.one egg on a saucer and my hash browns...is it really that difficult? Maybe to justify the price...I don't know but it's odd

A great hidden gem that you should certainly visit.
The food is ??, friendly service and a lovely setting.
Also, perfect baby changing facilities.
Would highly recommend literally anything on the menu!

Tasty enough food, obviously a very popular place. The hash browns were definitely overdone, though! Dark brown and far too dry and crunchy.
The smashed avocado with eggs and bacon was delicious - beautifully done and with a pistachio and lemon hint.
Good selection of drinks, the pear 'Posh Pop' was so refreshing.
Service was a little slow, but they were busy.

If you?re a cyclist don?t bother going without a booking. If I was the owner I would be furious with the staff me and my friends cycled 32 miles to it and were told it?s fully booked. It was 8-50 no body was there and all they could say it?s booked. All we saw were empty tables we only wanted a coffee and cake. We would have been only a few moments. Never mind there loss never again

Fabulous Brunch and one of the best Eggs Benedict I?ve had in a while. My wife had pancakes and my son the French toast and we will definitely be making another visit soon.
Staff were friendly and the service was great.
