I had a fantastic experience at Le Bouchon for my birthday. The room was very clean & comfortable making it a very enjoyable sleep. The food was brilliant, i had the duck breast, sirloin steak which was perfectly medium rare and a lemon tart for dessert. Plus a superb full English in the morning! All the staff were very helpful and smiley and going the extra mile! I look forward to going back!

Top marks for staff, food, location? probably the best uk hotel I?ve been in! Only one issue? lack of air con. But honestly they can?t be blamed for the crazy heat. Perhaps a better fan in the room would be an idea, but other than this everything was spectacular. Thanks so much for a lovely stay!

We visited Le Bouchon on a Saturday evening to celebrate my 30th birthday, and honestly, it was spot on. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel really welcome ? the service was warm, friendly and genuinely attentive all night.
The food was amazing! We started with the Jambon de Parme and the Lambton & Jackson smoked salmon ? both beautifully presented. For mains, we went for the sirloin steak and the rump of lamb, both cooked perfectly. Dessert was a real highlight too ? the warm cherry Bakewell and the dark rum roasted pineapple were just delicious.
The whole place has a lovely, elegant feel ? perfect for a special night out. We definitely felt it was worth the money, and it made the evening feel like a proper occasion.
We?re getting married nearby in October and have already told our guests to check this place out ? it?s a great spot for a nice dinner or a little getaway.
Would absolutely go back. Highly recommend!

Had dinner for 4 at Le Bouchon Bar and Brasserie last night (Friday 23rd May 2025). We have enjoyed this restaurant on many occasions in the past but last night was unfortunately not up to scratch. It was loud with large groups and you could hardly hear yourself talking. We all ordered Sirloin steak as they had unfortunately run out of lamb. All four steaks (which came to £128) were dry without an ounce of juice and well overdone. Such a shame. Being typically British we didn't complain but please Le Bouchon, don?t drop your standards as you have been a real gem in the area!

Very unhelpful in the bar, I asked for a sandwich as I have dietary requirement only to be scoffed at saying we have made a bar menu for a reason , flicking his wrist he trotted of the to kitchen, come back to tell me that this hotel and restaurant doesn?t have any bread ! Joke , I knew what his attitude would be before I asked , don?t bother going here if you have any special requests other than a couple slices of bread

I had my birthday Sunday lunch in the Orangery - 17 guests and I couldn?t fault anything. Exceptional service, amazing food and the staff went out of their way to make the day perfect.

Popped to Le Bouchon for our 20th wedding anniversary dinner yesterday. We have eaten here many times before and have always found it to be very good but last night?s meal (7 course tasting menu) was EXCEPTIONAL with each course being truly excellent! My husband is a retired chef (was a very good one) so naturally he is a bit of a foodie critic and can be particular! We both agree it was one of the best meals of our lives and we eat out a lot, lol!!! What a treat and on such a wonderful occasion! Thanks team, wonderful evening, food and service x
