Service slow partly due to the two bar hard working staff being stretched.
When it came the food was good but my chicken was dry and thus tough to cut.

Food was amazing. The salmon wellington was beautifully cooked. Service from Haighleigh was spot on. Head chef Shaun's specials all sounded delicious. Will definitely come back again!

Food was nice and vegan option seemed to have had some thought put into it. Outside seating available. Nice little walk along footpath through the back of the garden.
Vegetarian options: Well thought out vegan options, only a couple of options though.

Our first visit, for a Sunday lunch with friends. We had a fabulous time. It was very busy, but we received such good service from start to finish. Our roast was fabulous with amazing Yorkshire puddings and extra gravy. The slow cooked rib of beef was amazing!

FANTASTIC.
Lovely old pub. We had lunch and everyone enjoyed their meal. We were lucky to get a table, very popular pub at lunchtime. Booking in advance recommended for Sunday.
Very good value. Six meals and 12 drinks for less than £150.
Looking forward for an excuse to return.
