DO NOT BOOK THIS RESTAURANT!! We had exactly the same experience as the previous reviewer on 15/8 for my wife’s birthday. Paid £20 deposit for table when pub is closed. Absolutely disgusting. Upside was Blue Strawberry just up the road - fabulous food, service and ambience.

Booked for lunch with an old friend - £10 per head deposit charged. When we arrived, the place was closed and we were unable to reach the pub by phone (number not working).
