Yearly Eye Test have used Vison Express for about 20 yrs they always provide a great service NO PUSHY SALE'S STAFF saying you need new glasses there is no rush seeing to your needs l did not need glasses this visit as waiting to have cataracts done but once this is done I'll be back for glasses great service from start to finish would not go anywhere else

I have always used vision express & always been happy. Sadly that is no longer the case now that I have learned that they no longer carry out work in store. Previously if I wanted to reuse my existing frames they had the lenses made up & informed me when they arrived. They would then take my existing frames off me for an hour & fit the new lenses. That?s no longer an option. Now I?m told they would have to send my old frames away for 3 weeks. Clearly not a viable option. So what, that means new frames ( 2 pairs in my case) every year costing circa £300 plus a similar amount for lenses etc. No viable option to reuse 1 year old frames costing up to £200 each sounds like a scam. Really not happy. I?m going to have to consider my options next year after more than 20 years using this company

The staff are nice enough but visionary express has gone down in my esteem. My last visit 2 years ago saw the change that you had to pay in full when you order. That I can understand to an extent. But I find out on the latest visit that the in store laboratory has been scrapped. How ludicrous is that. This means that if you want to keep your current frames and just change the lenses you will be without glasses for 2-3 weeks unless you have a spare pair. So to my mind it?s their way of trying to get more money from you as well as inconveniencing you. I will probably use them for my eye tests moving forward but am inclined to not get my glasses from there in future.
