Good food. I asked if there was wheat in the gravy. The waitress found out the ingredients of the regular and vegetarian gravy. The veggie gravy was wheat free which is fine with me and saved me a horrible fit of gastric symptoms. Wheat hidden in saices makes me ill. The waitress was great. The server was very efficient and helpful. The restaurant was clean. Slight odour in the Ladies loo. Had a nice cappuccino for dessert. Parking was OK. You need the Pay by Phone parking app and it was £2.40 for a set period of 4 hours.Dietary restrictions: For free gravy choose vegetarian gravy. Tastes fine.

Not the normal service I receive I was disappointed this time. Table I was shown to was sticky to the touch, no cutlery the carvery vegetables looked as if they had been there sometime and looked extremely untidy, which is so unusual. Plates were cold as were the vegetables. We ordered drinks when we arrived but had to ask our server where they were, if I?m honest she was more interested in chatting to her friends. The salt shaker was so dirty and sticky we had to swap it with another table and take the cutlery from that table as ours wasn?t delivered to us. The second salt shaker we replaced we had to open and the top of the salt shaker was totally clogged up. I was so shocked as this isn?t what I expected. Not the normal service we receive.

Christmas Dinner 2023.We had our family dinner today and we would like to say a HUGE thank you to ALL the staff. It was a hard day with short staff, a new system that caused lots of problems and lots of very rude customers. We appreciate that the service was slow but it was exceptionally busy and our waitress was smiling the entire time. The food was fantastic as always.Merry Christmas to you all ??THANK YOU

Jessica our waitress was amazing as ever. I visit here regularly and always receive excellent service from Jessica whether it?s an AM or PM visit, Jessica always gives outstanding customer service. A credit to the Toby Carvery in Harlow.Vegetarian options: Doesn?t apply to us. Neither three of us had the vegetarian options.Parking: Lots of clean spaces to park.

Carvery food was very good. I had roast beef which was superb. Service was very slow and it atmosphere was OK. You can park free of charge for 3 hours but the main problem was getting a parking space. I wouldn't go there again.

3 dad's and 7 children. They looked after us brilliantly. Service was amazing and the food was to be expected. Kids had a ball and the Dad's got to have a pint. Job done.

The waitress was nice and served us well. Unfortunately where we sat was very draughty and so we were cold and our food got cold very quickly.We used the toilets but they wasn?t very clean and no toilet paper. Lots of water on the floor as well.Parking: Very difficult to park and couldn?t see a lot of disabled parking but it was dark.
