The manager is a horrible person. We had our disabled child and her service dog with us and he forced us to leave (greatly upsetting my child) and harassing us every step on our way out. Terrible human being.

I wanted to take a moment to praise the wonderful staff at Tesco (Edinburgh Way) in Harlow. Every time I visit, I?m always greeted with warm smiles, helpful service, and a genuinely positive attitude. The staff go out of their way to assist, making the shopping experience so much more pleasant and stress-free. What really stands out is the difference compared to the Bishops Stortford store, where unfortunately the atmosphere often feels very different and makes shopping far less enjoyable. The Harlow (Edinburgh Way) team really set a great example of excellent customer service, and it's always a pleasure to shop there. A big thank you to all the staff ? your efforts are very much appreciated!

Got everything you need, click and collect. Petrol station. Plenty of parking, get the odd sandwich from there.

Just visited the local tesco. Prominent offer displayed for well known brand of packaged ready meals Charlie Bingham £9.50 but £8.50 for club card holders. Got to the check out and no such discount. Fine print in letters much , much smaller indicated it applied to just one of the several ready meals on display. Not worried about the £1 difference but the principle of the matter.
Clueless supervisor more concerned that I showed her the notice that I had removed then any expression of regrets.

I visit this store most days and always have friendly interactions with the staff. Stock levels are great, the store is always clean and tidy, good availability & always have a positive shopping experience. Until today, when my American husband went into the store and used a screenshot of my club card because his American phone does not allow access to the UK App Store where you can download the Tesco App. Our 2 year old was asleep in the car so I stayed with her. As he paid, he went to scan the screenshot of the club card. The lady scanning explained it was against policy, which was absolutely fine. This lady was not particularly rude, it was the aggressive larger, blonde lady behind her working on the next till who hugely escalated things and told her colleague to remove the shopping from my husband. After some discussion and the angry involvement of the next blonde lady on the till, my husband didn?t care to use the club card anymore, he said he would just pay elsewhere, as he could feel customers looking at him at this point. The shopping was then completely confiscated from him and placed behind the till as the larger blonde lady believed he would go to another till and use the screenshot elsewhere. This obviously caused upset so my husband went to customer service. I then, had to wake up my 2 year old daughter and come into the store to scan the club card from my app. When I went to retrieve the shopping, I was berated very quickly and loudly by the larger blonde lady, a lady with brown hair and the till manager, who proceeded to shove a piece of paper in my face explaining they don?t allow club card screenshots. We didn?t even care to use the club card at this point, the bigger issue now was the abuse of their role as customer service assistants and the huge scene they?d caused. They were audaciously rude to my husband and treated him like he was doing something illegal. Then came the blame shifting. They were incredibly angry, loud & also lied. One of the ladies eventually did agree and told the truth that they had confiscated the shopping and then in a quick manipulative tactic, shouted at us and told us we were being abusive. Which is really disappointing, as they initiated the conflict, so unnecessarily to begin with. It could have been dealt with quietly, appropriately and politely. Sadly, My husband realised very early on they were being very difficult on purpose and told them he didn?t care to use the club card but they refused to give the shopping back to him and caused a huge scene. Customers came up to us outside and confirmed that the behaviour of the staff was concerning & a complete overreaction about something so minor. I am absolutely mortified.
Most of the staff in this store are polite and helpful and I often have many conversations with them. Even the gentleman who shouted at me today knows me, we speak regularly and knows my temperament as a customer. He even admitted that I?m a polite and friendly customer when the two ladies were shouting at us. These women, initiated conflict and then victimised themselves as being abused, it?s such concerning behaviour as they used their role to obtain power & control over the situation to change people?s perception on what was happening. Very concerning, truly shocking and seriously dangerous. I know we all have bad days, but this was seriously wrong. Everything will be there on CCTV, please watch it back & train your staff to effectively minimise the need for aggression and conflict over something so trivial. There was no aggression until your staff chose to deal with it this way. It was Till 15, between 10:27-10:50 at Tesco, East Road, Edinburgh Way.
I love shopping with Tesco but sadly won?t step foot in this store again. Luckily, we are within close proximity of other local Tesco stores where we have also had great shopping experiences. Not a bad store, just a bad experience with staff who probably should not be working in Customer Service.

The customer service and staff at this branch were both unprofessional and indolent.
I contacted the store to inquire about the availability of a Costa Coffee machine. Upon arrival and approaching the machine to order my meal drink! I was informed that it was ?not working.? However, the screen appeared to be functioning correctly. I found this response to be highly suspicious. After waiting for a few minutes, I approached a staff member who appeared to be in charge. She assured me that the machine should be operational. After moving the obstruction blocking the machine, she asked two other staff members if they know what?s wrong with the machine. They informed her that they were the machine needs the refill !! the same staff members had previously stated that the machine was ?not working.? This behavior is unacceptable and constitutes a deception to customers who are willing to spend money in their supermarket.
The supervisor or manager was telling me and insisting on me to purchase my coffee from the Costa Coffee shop instead, implying that they were unable to operate their own machine (which takes a minute or so to refill). This was absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable behaviour toward regular customer.

Great! It isn't to close to my place but it has everything I need and the prices aren't too bad.

Absolutely awful experience few days ago with lady name Debbie. She is lucky I forgot to write the review, or it will be not so nice like here. She was patronising, unhelpful, rude and with every sentence she showed she thinks people shops in tesco are idiots. With staff like her I agree! That's really shame as other shops in Harlow and Bishops Stortford have a lovely, helpful workers there. Never again in this branch!!.
