It's nice to have a cafe in the park, the food is fairly basic but decent enough and served up quickly. The cafe is smart inside and we'll renovated. It's a bit of a hassle to get from the till to the indoor seating though, you have to squeeze paste people queuing, which was not planned very well.

Slowest service, also saw whilst waiting they left someone tuna panini in the sun! It was caped with flys then proceeded to serve it!

Used to be nice, but gone down hill massively since last visit. Menu reduced by half. staff so rude got told off for crossing the line despite many people before us crossing over the tape on the floor.

The service was slow and lacked basic politeness. Staff came across as quite blunt and unbothered, which is surprising in such a calm, family-friendly environment. It felt like there was no care or kindness at all ? a bit more empathy would really improve things.
Now, the pricing? I was genuinely shocked to be charged £5 for the kids? meal shown in the photo ? two fish fingers and a handful of chips in a takeaway box. That?s incredibly poor value. To make things worse, a single scoop of ice cream was £4. Seriously? That?s overpriced by any standard, especially in a park café where families expect a more reasonable experience.
The café?s location is lovely, but the service and prices don?t match the setting. If you?re looking for a friendly, good-value place to eat while enjoying the park, sadly, this isn?t it. Wouldn?t recommend.

The service extremely slow . They?d top the list if there were ratings for slow service. After waiting far too long in line and seeing how poorly orders were handled, I left out of frustration.

Very slow inexperienced staff, waited ages to be served and lady on the till sooooo slow. We ordered 2 mugs of tea and 2 cheese and coleslaw jacket potato?s with butter - cost £20! Jackets were cold in some parts and hot in others, cheese was almost non-existent and there was no butter! Coleslaw was awful, it was made up of great but chucks of vegetables not cut up properly and just smacked into a very small bowl.
Appalling service and food.
What a shame! the cafe exists in beautiful surroundings but unfortunately lacks any good points.
Take a picnic do t bother wasting your time and money in this cafe.

Had a good sandwich lunch here with coffees. Sat outside on the benches. Nice park with free parking for an hour nearby.

I wanted to enter the cafe on Sunday, but a lady told me that they were closed, so I said it was only 15:04 and it looks like they will close at 16:00 on the internet.

Great service, choice, food and very friendly staff. The cakes on offer look very, very nice, but, they are just too highly priced by about 25% in my view!! Well used with plenty of patrons coming & going. Plenty of picnic type tables & seats outside.
Dog bowls & water available for our 4 legged family members.

Nice cafe, satisfactory food and drink. Dont understand how they get orders wrong so consistently though, every time I go there I get food that's different to what I order... Is it a joke or something lol? Slow service too, no excuses now need to improve. 2/5

After lovely time at the park, my family wanted eat lunch there. They stand in a queue and me took little one to the toilet, when member of staff blocked our way with opened arms, with very upset face and rude tone she said is not public toilet. I was trying explain as we are customers and my little one is desperate. The lady said we can't use it as we didn't buy nothing yet, and repeat it's not public toilet. Her tone and posture terrified my daughter. We use to like this cafe a lot, but after this disgusting experience will never back there.
