Poor quality
I bought a badminton racket (100 pound) here and the net quality was very poor it was loose and moving in first game itself. When I tried to explain the issue, the shop owner spoke to me rudely, did not listen, and was very aggressive. Very disappointing experience and not recommended. She said she will not do anything with it. And paint has gone.

Honestly one of THE worst places to shop. I went in yesterday, to by some trainers (kids) asked a Guy can you help, ill be 2 seconds. Comes back as hes walking to me. Stops and sorts someone else out. 10 mins later still nothing. No one to be seen, so I asked a lady stood by the main entrance, are you working on trainers, her reply no I work upstairs and everywhere, ill get someone to help, 4 times she walked past me and it was clear no one was helping. Just ignore me. Then a young ish girl was putting stock away, I said can you get me these if possible please? Her response, no im putting stock back out that people had left. I would of thought serving a potentially paying customer is more important than what she was doing, clearly not. At this point I walked out, bearing in mind I would of purchased probably 6 pairs of trainers in total . Customer service in there is a joke. I wont be going back thats for sure

Horrible experience. The staff was rude . I felt I was facing racism and the lady staff was so rude and a male staff was getting too irritated by the way the kids were bouncing the ball but for the white kids he wasn't bothered much . Too much disrespect

Twice now we have tried to buy trainers. Mens and Womens. Staff say you have to wait at the display and they will get it ect. No one bothers. No one wanted to get them from the stock room. So twice walked out without purchasing.

Went in this morning and purchased a few items of clothing
As you know they scan and pack them for you at the till but to my surprise one of the pairs of shorts I paid for was not in the bag when I got home
I don't know if it was a mistake by the lady at the till as she did scan it but not packed it or intentional and I've no way of finding out as I tried to call all day to no avail
Pretty dodgy and after reading the reviews I'm not hopefull I'm going to recover the loss

Sports Direct in Harlow is a real gem for anyone looking for sports gear and apparel. We've consistently found that they offer a great range of good quality products, from top brands to their own reliable lines. What really stands out is how reasonable their prices are. You can always count on finding a good deal, making it easy to stock up on essentials without overspending. It's our go-to for value and quality in Harlow!

Terrible customer service and not for the first time. My husband wanted a pair of shoes and not a single assistant available. And when I say "not available", I mean they are there but pretend not to notice you are there, waiting and then decide to serve someone else that just randomly walks up.
I can see by the review section that this is not something unusual with this branch, so if I were the management, I would sort this out ASAP, because their staff members are horrible.

Avoid Sports Direct Harlow on Town Centre at All Costs
I highly recommend avoiding the Sports Direct store in Harlow, located on Edinburgh Way. My recent experience was nothing short of appalling. I purchased 2 Adidas training pants, 2 Adidas gym tops, and 1 Under Armor training pants, but the customer service was atrocious.
Firstly, when I called the store to confirm that I wanted a refund rather than a credit note, I was met with an incredibly rude and unhelpful manager. The behavior was unprofessional, and I felt disrespected from the outset.
Despite the website clearly stating that returns are accepted within 28 days for a refund, the staff at this store concocted a ridiculous excuse, claiming they don?t accept refunds or exchanges. This directly contradicts both their own return policy and consumer rights, which guarantee a refund if an item is misdescribed or doesn't match the online specifications. It?s unacceptable that the website misleads customers, and the store's refusal to honor these rights is disgraceful.
The Under Armour training pants I purchased were supposedly on sale for £39, down from £40?an insulting discount, especially when the website listed them at £22. The Adidas pants were £32 online but £41 in-store. These price discrepancies are dishonest and misleading.
When I tried to return the items, which were unworn and still had tags attached, I was falsely accused of wearing them. This baseless accusation was made before I even had a chance to explain. I even showed the items in person, proving they were in perfect condition, but the staff refused to help or offer a refund.
To make matters worse, when I purchased the items on September 3rd from another store, they neglected to remove the security tags. Despite this clear mistake on their part, the staff at the Harlow store showed no concern. All they seemed to care about was taking my money.
After this ordeal, I was left stranded and lost, as I had traveled to the store by bus, only to be met with such poor service. The prices in the store are deceptive, and the products do not match what is advertised online. The Adidas training pants I received were different from what was shown on the website?the ones in-store lacked the iconic three stripes, making me question their authenticity.
Sports Direct Harlow on Edinburgh Way is a disgrace. They are dishonest, sell counterfeit goods, and their customer service is atrocious. I spent £187.00 and have yet to receive a refund. I will never set foot in this store again and strongly advise others to stay clear.

Came in here for a refund and customer service was bad . Because I was a few days out of the 4 weeks and even though I was purchasing more items they wouldn?t let me exchange . The girl at the till radio the manager and he didn?t want to know . Nasty attitude from him and I Will not be coming back here again . subsequently I went to another sports direct who did exchange no problem
