Definitely won?t shop here again as they display one price and when you get to the tills it?s a different price. Then when you tell the manager they argue with you and say that was the weekend price or little children stuck different prices on all the items. Clearly shows from £1 meaning the item can be £1 . Shocking customer service and can?t believe how they argue with you.

Fist time to this Matalan today, it's a very spacious and big shop and has everything you could need. I really likes the homeward section, the best thing about this shop was the colleague on the self service tills. She was so friendly and helpful, supported with putting stuff through the checkouts and finding my old Matalan card as well so saves some money.

Good womens stock range fair pricing but mens formal wear a bit minimal, was much better two years ago, suiting lower quality, pricing fits quality, trousers less range, sizes and colours. Casualwear plentiful and good pricing, good range.

The self checkout is pathetic and there are rarely any staff to assist

Only self service checkout could be used. No assistance and got home to find item has security tag on. When I rang have been told I have to go back to store in 48 hours to be removed. (No alarm went off) very unhelpful staff in store and on phone.

OK but their displays are not very organised. Finding clothes in the right fit involved running through a large chunk of the relevant stock as they're not well sorted.

3 stars because the fitting rooms are dark and nowhere to put your clothes when trying on and the way clothes are tagged is sometimes impossible to try on, I understand why they need to do this but maybe a different way could be used. Staff were helpful.
