“We, people tend to give negative reviews without thinking intellectually. The people works there are nice and friendly. Every off-licence in UK charge 50p if you pay less then £2/£5 by card. Prices are reasonable, it can’t be like lidl or asda. We should appreciate our local businesses, not criticising unwisely.”

“Mo has changed my life, it is such a convenient store, it has everything I need and it is in such a convenient location, I wish there was a 10 start rating for Jad’s, I do love this shop, me and my family frequent the establishment a lot, Mo is such a helpful guy, who is always happy to help, the store is very easy to navigate and is set out perfectly”

“This is an amazing little shop. The staff are welcoming, friendly, always happy to help you out. From as soon as you walk in the door and to the back at the cafe. The staff will even listen to you if you have a (personal) problem. It's NOT an expensive shop, I'd happily pay £1 card payment if they asked. BUT, if you have a problem with paying 30p, PAY CASH. Its still legal tender!!! Just so we can keep this shop going.Needs to be more community shops like this.Well done. I'd give you 10* personally ??”

“Before the refurbishment, i would always go to Premier (even with how run down it is), but now i always go McColl's because it's genuinely really good now it's been done up. If you live in and around Church Langley, i would recommend going Tesco but if you're nearby it's a good shop. Only thing is it's a little bit overpriced for drinks.”

“Always nice to go in there in the mornings! And very great service from JENNY , Gemma Jade and Dee ! Shelves always look tidy and full even if faced up !! And open on time these days ! Only small niggle is fruit and veg is way overpriced! That's why it never looks appealing as it's past best ! Apart from that I like the shop ! And hope your loyal staff are shown my review ! Thanks local shop!!”

“Liking the new redesign to the store. Layout is quite good, the “easy to go” grab stuff is just the right areas when you enter the shop so my trips is literally a quick run to the shop. Plenty of staff and helpful, there wasn’t a lot of customers around but they opened up another till and that was helpful of them.”

“What lovely staff. I was on a visit to see my elderly parents and popped in for a few things for them. I asked a middle aged lady who was filling the shelves something. She turned to me with a smile and said nothing was too much trouble and showed me to the thing I couldn't find then asked if there was anything else. She was very busy but I felt I wasn't interrupting her at all. I only caught the "de" of her name badge I'm afraid.”

“I feel like I should correct some of the reviews here. This is an M&S here, but it is a BP / M&S petrol station I'm not sure why people have felt the need to rate the place 1 star and state it does not exist. Anyway the place is a very well kept establishment as you'd expect of an M&S and has a well-rounded selection of groceries. The only negative is that the place gets very busy and it is never staffed well enough to cope.”

“I like to do shopping for urgent things here, you know.. like "oh dear we don't have any milk left" and then I end up buying £40 worth of food and cleaning products for some reason.I also like the staff because they're polite and smile although it's clear they're somewhat stressed when the shop is busy (Thanks guys for doing a great job!)”

“A great local convenience store! One Stop at The Stow is well-stocked with everyday essentials, from groceries and household items to snacks and drinks. The store is open daily from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, making it a reliable choice for quick shopping trips.

The variety of services available is impressive, including Costa Coffee, National Lottery, PayPoint, and a Post Office—which is a major plus! The availability of Uber Eats, Deliveroo, Just Eat, and Snappy Shopper also makes it easy to get items delivered when needed.

The only slight downside is that it can get busy, especially around the Post Office counter, leading to longer wait times. However, the staff are generally friendly and efficient, making the overall shopping experience pleasant.

Would definitely recommend One Stop Harlow for a convenient and well-equipped local store!”

“Good local convenience store with a wide range of useful products. Prices, like all small local shops, are higher than the supermarkets but that's to be expected. The fruit and veg is not great and needs careful examination before purchase.”

“Great little local, better than the Nisa down the road which also stocks Coop stuff but costing 25% more for reasons...As for the staff dissing customers, weird. Been there a hundred times, never heard it. Maybe people need thicker skins to match their skulls! :D Ohh me feelings! One thing I'd say, how long did it take them to catch on to Unicones?! Every other Coop in town had them but the buyer here can't smell a trend. A little more bravery needed in that department.”

“I had had a bad experience with two stores including Asda and Esso, and I finally went to Nisa. Not only was the service provided superb, but also the empathy and sympathy of the provider was point on.Thank you...”

“Today ( sunday)
Popped into the phone shop, served by the fantasticly helpful Brooke.I thought I had lost all my photos!!
But she navigated me through the steps & then went on to give me valuable tips!..no rushing me, just helping me with pleasure..I stick to TESCO mobile contracts ( for years now)..because if technology gets the better of me, I can rely on the face to face service...in store!
Outstanding Brooke.”

“I was very relieved to be able to get a pair of chilli red Snickers as they've stopped producing them. I'll be ordering another pair soon. Delivery by UPS wasn't so good.”
