I went to this store a few days ago and was served by Tom who was extremely helpful in not only the processing of the items I had to sell but also in helping me pick out new games to play for my new console.

Had to take an online order back for refund and the store manager served me. Unlike when I returned something to stratford that involved me being there an hour and taking them 2 days to process their end.
Within half an hour after being served by the store manager my refund was being processed.
Great service! Prompt and efficient, exactly how it should be.
If i ever need to return anything its worth the treck coming back here than going to my local o e at Stratford.

Went to sell a factory sealed product for £70 credit . I signed the form and was called back to the store as they said that it was ?misquoted ? and that the new price was £35. The employee had open the box , ripping the seals and the box itself. No apology was offered and the useless staff made no effort to correct the situation , instead telling me that there was nothing that they can do and that it was essentially my fault in an argumentative manner. Never again.

My experience with this store can be summed up in one word: Frustration, but only those who have been through or are going through the same thing know this. It was a frustrating situation with Ceex to buy a defective cell phone and have problems with the warranty, something that no one deserves. I will seek consumer rights because I know I have rights against defective products. Even if I have to go to Citizens Advice, Trading Standards, or the Financial Ombudsman service. I will give my online review on other social media platforms, my frustration has to serve as an experience so that other people do not fall for this scam of buying used devices with the promise of a warranty.

They promise a guarantee and do not deliver!
I bought an iPhone 11 as a gift for my mother, but when I went to give it to her, she had already bought one. So, I kept the device in a drawer for 6 months. After that time, I decided to use it, as I needed another device for my work. During the 6 months that I used it, I noticed that the battery took a long time to charge and the charge did not last very long. So, one day, when I was passing by another Cex store in Eastbourne, I decided to question the warranty of the device. The assistant at that store was very helpful, quickly tested the battery and soon arrived with the news that they would be able to refund the £370 to my bank account. That day, I was not prepared to part with the device, as I had business conversations that I could not miss, so the assistant Charles said it would be okay if I came back another day with the phone already backed up so that I would not lose my things. However, as I was just passing through town, I thought; How cool, the store really takes responsibility, as I didn't have time to do the Backup process in Eastbourne, I decided to finish it later and decided to take the device to the same place where I bought it, which was the CEX store in Harlow, but to my disappointment the store made us wait from 2pm to 4pm, saying that something would be done, either a refund or at least an exchange for another device. After waiting 2 hours, they told us that nothing could be done, but what they could do was buy it from us for £100 because it was faulty! I always knew it had a problem and that's why I ran after the warranty, they promise a warranty but in reality they want to buy it from you for a symbolic amount and then pass it on to another idiot, because I was an IDIOT, I never
thought that the store that sold me this device would be so dishonest with me to this point! They wanted to leave me with no option, but now I demand that it be fixed. They may not even want to give me my money back or give me store credit, but as long as this device is under warranty I will always go back to them to get it fixed because they can take money from us however they want and because we cannot exercise our rights, which they themselves advertise by putting the 5-year warranty seal on them. Ridiculous store, to think that I bought more than 3 devices from them, recommended them to so many other people to buy, and in the end they do this to me! Not to mention that they say when you buy that they will send you the purchase receipt by email, and then they don't send you anything. And you are in their hands forever!

Worst staff that's that talks to people in a rude way and bullying people in a rude way you should you should not discriminate people who walk into your store to give you gifts they don't need when they're trying to be nice to you most people will be honest with you so take it as an offense sometimes it's just how people are you normally get strongly honest straightforward people who have been harshly treated unfairly you should not charge one penny pair a DVD when a person gives it to you because that scamming people when you give it a higher price anyway when someone buys it from you you might as well keep all your DVDs as one penny to know you're not ripping anyone off you're such a spiteful company the Harlow one cex store
