“Great place. You receive a warm welcome from the staff member at the door and are politely guided to the relevant area.\\nAll staff are highly trained and professional but give a personal touch, maybe with a quick chat or sweet smile which is exactly what someone on their own needs... Real people!!\\nAll the staff members appear happy to be there and are happy to help you.”

“Before the refurbishment, i would always go to Premier (even with how run down it is), but now i always go McColl's because it's genuinely really good now it's been done up. If you live in and around Church Langley, i would recommend going Tesco but if you're nearby it's a good shop. Only thing is it's a little bit overpriced for drinks.”

“As a regular EV driver and a BP Pulse subscriber, I find the network reliable and generally easy to use. The app works well, and the stations are usually in good condition and conveniently located. I currently pay £0.49 per kWh with my subscription, which is fair in some areas, but not the most competitive compared to other networks.

For example, with my Tesla subscription, I often pay around £0.40 per kWh—and during off-peak hours, prices can drop into the £0.30 range. That’s a significant difference over time, especially for those who drive long distances frequently.

One of the biggest challenges in the UK EV charging experience is the lack of pricing consistency. Some motorway stations charge over £1 per kWh, which is not only unreasonable but also makes EV ownership less economical than driving petrol or diesel. This defeats the purpose of switching to electric for both environmental and cost-saving reasons.

In this context, we strongly believe that all charging providers across the UK should unify under a standard, transparent pricing system. It’s confusing and frustrating for EV drivers to deal with wildly different prices across different networks. A consistent pricing model—ideally supported or regulated by government—would make the experience much fairer, more predictable, and ultimately more appealing to new EV users.

If we truly want a greener, cleaner future, the private sector and the government must collaborate to remove financial and practical barriers to EV adoption. Looking across Europe, we can see that lower and more consistent EV charging rates are already a reality in many countries. The UK needs to catch up.

One final suggestion:
Please consider installing more BP Pulse charging stations in the Palmers Green area, particularly near the Bourne Hill – Green Lanes junction. It’s a busy area with growing EV usage but very limited access to public charging points. It would be a great benefit to local residents and commuters alike.”

“The store itself is very well laid out and great items. It’s sad that the cafe is never open anymore, that corner of the store just looks abandoned and it used to be a great place to eat!”

“Nice banking premises, very spacious ideal for wheelchairs, mobility scooters and children's buggies. Always found the staff to friendly and very helpful and security conscious. Two cash machines outside the bank and two inside which provide a little more privacy and a member of staff is usually around if you encounter any problems.”
