Not ideal for hotdesking. Weak WiFi speeds and if you don't have proper noise cancelling headphones / in ear buds you'll have to endure the background music they pump out.
If you want somewhere quieter and vastly better value (breakfast sandwich plus tea about £5 vs JUST a hot chocolate w caramel shot here for £5.94) but no power supplies (which is the only reason I crossed the road into here) try Halstead Cafe across the road.
And my table is wobbly. How, in the UK and in 2025, are wobbly tables still a thing? Aaaaand the aircon is fully on, it's raining outside. Admittedly I'm in a t-so feeling it more than others but still.

Very bad... every morning only 1 person working too slow... need waiting around 25 min to get one cappuccino is terrible

I visit Costa nearly everyday and I have to say that the staff are very friendly and helpful. I think they do a great job sometimes it is very busy but you have to understand that's the way it is. I've heard people moan but the coffee machine and all the other gadgets they have can only go as fast as they can. So people who do criticise should try it themselves and see what happens. Anyway I think they do a brilliant job

Standard Costa Coffee, although it was nearly empty. At one point there were more staff than customers. Service was very fast!
Parking: The nearest parking is in Weavers Court car park, which is free!

Adriana was just spot on from when i entered the coffee shop till she handed me the coffee and greet me a good day! Such a valuable team member you?ve got here. Traveling the country up and down with my job i have been in many coffee places and seen many people. Adriana is one of the rarest gold stars employee. You cak change someones day with just a little bit of care and a big nice round smile ??

It was a quick service - just another Costa environment, too noisy. Their coffee isn't strong doesn't feel like drinking a coffee but more like hot milk :). Cleanliness is an issue as feels a bit dated - staff are friendly and working hard.
