Popped in after our walk around Pleshey and enjoyed a local ale from Bishop Nick. It's a lovely pub with friendly staff and a fairly big beer garden. There is space for several vehicles in the car park, or you can park for free on the main road. Our dog also got a warm welcome and was allowed inside and out. We'd definitely come back!

It's something special when a pub like this finds you on a leisurely Sunday stroll. Welcoming bar staff, super dog-friendly, and the loveliest cheese & pickle sandwich with a malty & refreshing pint of Bishop Nick, as well as a beautiful garden space (with a small but imaginative play area for little ones).
Red kite, swifts and a charm of goldfinches added an extra special touch to our visit - what a gem. Thank you, Pleshey ??!

Recently reopened pub, run by locals I believe. Not a huge choice of beer but the pint I had was decent enough and the bar staff were friendly and welcoming.

I've wanted to go to this pub for ages. The reason being it was Keith flints pub. I was absolutely made up that I've photos of me outside which I'll frame. I do live far away so this has made my year being a big fan.
I went inside and it was not what I expected. To be honest it has some nice charm to it. A real nice country pub. Prices are reasonable and the bar staff very friendly. I would recommend and would love to go back again.

Popped in here for lunch based on the reviews of the food and pictures of the food and menu. Unfortunately they don?t do food any more apparently, but one confusing was the mountains of cutlery in front of the bar person. Rating because there was no explanation or suggestion of alternative, just repeated ?we don?t do food, sorry? twice

Just how a country pub should be!Friendly staff, great atmosphere and brilliant selection of pop up food trucks - can't wait for the kitchen to open. Great value for money with a good selection of beers, wines and spirits.
