Went here due to the idiocy at the three horseshoes in Dutton Hill, and glad that we wewe forced to find another local. Its great can put our money into such a lovely pub, with lovely staff...and be appreciated and looked after, with nothing too much trouble.
Parking: Plenty of room generally in carpark they have round the back.
There was even more until about a billion houses have started to be built there. Good business for the pub to come from that.
Kid-friendliness: Big fenced Garden there for you to throw them in without worrying they might escape

Food was great wish we had a little more option on extras but outstanding regardless. A small pub with a very chilled atmosphere and tucked away, eating pudding in the garden is a must and the service is delightful.

What an amazing local pub!!! We had an unbelievable Sunday roast there today. A great choice of meats and the food quality and service were 2nd to none! Booked again before we left. Ian, Dawn and their family always make us feel welcome and have really turned this pub into an absolutely fantastic place to take your friends and family. Fantastic experience at the Stag celebrating our grandads 90th birthday. The team were extremely accommodating for our group of 19 and made such an effort, especially for the 5 young children. Food and drink were both excellent. Looking forward to our next visit already.

A thoroughly pleasant Saturday afternoon. Ian & Dawn are great hosts. Inhaled my delicious sausage mash. Excellent meals, afters & drinks all round with a large group. Six Nations rugby (England vs Italy) on very quietly in saloon bar. Civilised friendly locals etc. What's not to like? Loved it. Highly Recommended.Parking: At rear
