Such helpful staff turns out I locked my card on the app resulting in payment decline/ not recognised. The lady kindly fixed my issue.

I been with Nationwide over 30 years, and they always helped me with any issues. With the situation in the country respect the girls /Gentlemen and only go to branch if really necessary we should consider others as well as not just ourselves. I see people going into the bank really stop being selfish anything can wait, they trying their best to keep open so dont abuse it!!

Went to pay cheque in Friday 11am and joined slow moving queue of 7 customers outside Nationwide Dunmow. I had another appointment and had to leave the queue. I thought Nationwide would be open on Saturday silly me ! Now the cheque pay in will try again on Monday 4 days later.

Just seen the daming negative reviews which I think are unfair. It's true that people only tend to leave reviews when they are annoyed so I thought I'd add my comments (I'm not annoyed!). I've been with Nationwide for 30 years and I can generally say they've been great. I've also had accounts with most other banks during this time and whilst it would be wrong to say everything has been perfect on aggregate they are well deserving of a full 5 stars. The staff are generally great and the service is fine so happy to recommend them wholeheartedly.

Very useful local branch. Much more friendly and helpful than the big Banks. Been with them for nearly 30 years and happy with service.

I so agree with the 1st review and advise to avoid this place at all costs. Contrary to 1st review I would recommend to my worst enemy for he/she would deserve! Not only do they seen incapable of efficiently performing the simplest of banking procedures they have no communication with their HO. I would also frequently hear the staff apologising to other customers .....says it all.

avoid nationwide the whole banking system of nationwide is crap, I would rather bank with a 1 hit wonder name, the worst bank currently running, would not recommend to an enemy.
