Fantastic pub and atmosphere! Good food with live music at times. Also there were bouncy castles for the kids that afternoon. Good selection of beer and food options.

I came here with my wife for a rare lunch date. The plan was to sit in the beer garden as it is a nice garden here. However, it was far to hot, so sat inside instead.
My wife had scampi and chips and I chose the beef and chorizo burger.
There was a bit of a wait but I out that down to us being the first and the kitchen had only just opened, so wasn't to bothered.
The food was really nice, I would definitely recommend the burger I had.

Good quality presented food with wide variety of beers and a very good service with a smile ... wasn't happy that prices didn't include v.a.t. couldn't find this mentioned on menu... So I paid extra £16.44 on top of a £81 .00 bill..... Didn't moan .alough I'm not aware you can charge something not mentioned on menu

Food choices were good but possibly not prepared as well as they might have been. Only Greene King beer on though there was also wine, lager and cider. Plenty of seats outside for if weather is good plus roomy inside

My family went to the Easter event over the weekend. The little one loved it and definitely went home tired. My self and fiancé along with his dad felt safe enough to sit in the pub and have lunch whilst she was taking part in the event and the food as always was amazing. Thank you for such a great and fun afternoon

so we waited 30 mins before we were asked what we would like to eat then another 30 mins before starter came out and then another 30 mins before we got our mains i would not mind but there was only 4 other people eating and i am not surprised at this due to the quality of the main meal ,steak and kidney pudding and mash i took two mouthfuls and both were pure Grisel potato was lumpier than a pebble dashed wall on both of our meals and then had the cheek to charge £14 for a glass of wine that would cost £6 in my local so i will not be going back they did take my meal of the bill but the whole experience was terrible
