Just returned from a wonderful meal at The Courthouse, plenty of food, nicely presented with lovely & friendly staff. Xmas crackers at each place setting a nice touch. Full restaurant as usual - no wonder with such a wonderful place! Fully recommend it.

Try and make your web site so I can view the menu and prices of rooms BEFORE I do any booking. You are impossible to reach except for going via other sites, waste of my time so no booking from me.

lovely food and drinks with mains up to 20 pounds generally we had three courses here and everyone enjoyed their food and were very full up by the end. Originally, we thought the menu appeated rather limited, but the quality of what we ordered compensated. , Recommend: duck pancake starter , steak/ribs/lamb pitta , creme brulee pudding
everything presented very well and the manager was so very nice as well as the servers
Bit of a wait for table and food when busy but it's worth it for sure

Solid Sunday roast, loads of options, and always packed. Been here twice and it has such a welcoming vibe, in an updated old inn.
The roast? Really good. Meat cooked well, rich gravy, and beautifully cooked veg, proper home-style cooking. Staff are super lovely too, relaxed, efficient and friendly without overdoing it. Great beer selection, too.
Loads of families having a roast, loads of veggie options on the menu and extensive specials board.

My wife and I visited here last week and the roast dinner was lovely, I had the lamb and my wife had the beef both were plentiful and cooked well. We went again this Sunday and the food was average to say the least, it was if it was a different chef, the gravy was so salty we left with a horrible feeling in our mouths. With the lack of consistency we will not be going back.

We dropped in for lunch on the off chance on Saturday, im disabled in a wheelchair and we were given a table for two next to a really noisy table of 10 one child on a noisy computer game the whole time.
Im vegetarian and all i could choose from was a tartlet or a curry.
I went for tye tartlet my husband fish and chips drinks came quickly but we waited 55 minutes for food.
Mine came literally sat on top of a sea of thick tomatoe sauce the green beans , new potatoes and bottom of it wete drenched in it.
I moved the sauce over as best i could and all i could eat was half of the top of the tartlet.
Really not a nice cuisine experience.
When my plate was cleared i wasn't asked why i hadn't touched the food or offered a partial refund.
I don't know why the sauce wasn't separate in a jug???
Not a good experience far too noisy and my food was awful

Enjoyed a smashing Birthday meal here on Saturday for my Husband ,
Everyone in our party throughly Enjoyed the food , it came out hot, and tasted and looked amazing. The staff were attentive and checked in on us for drinks and to check all was OK.
Everyone joined in with singing Happy Birthday to my husband, we could not fault the enthusiasm and cheerfulness of the staff .
Thank-you for making My Husbands 60th birthday extra special.
We have and will continue to recommend The court house as a place to dine .

The best meal we have ever had in north west Ireland and on a par with Michelin starred restaurants elsewhere.
The ambience and decor of a French provincial restaurant, even down to the look of the serving staff, but with the hauteur replaced by friendly welcoming Irish craic.
Brilliant range of dishes, particularly for vegetarians, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented.
Good value for money and portions of a size that satisfied a fat lad.
My only regret was driving which prevented me from doing justice to the extremely tempting wine list.
A truly five star experience which we have already booked to repeat and which I am sure will be a regular occurrence.

Recently visited this pub and what can I say, the food is outstanding and cooked to perfection even the seafood! It?s on par with the Marquis for sure regarding food quality. Staff are amazing and extremely helpful and tentative to your needs! Highly recommended and prices are really reasonable! Will definitely visit again

We had a family birthday here and the staff were excellent, couldn't have been more helpful and the food was great with lots of choice for most palettes.
