Stopped by after the Village Fair. The duck confit was fabulous, same for the pie of the week and the beef brisket. Highly recommended! People were friendly, live music as just the right sound level, service was also excellent.

Utterly APPALLING!
Service (and there was a lot available) and food (if you?re running out of cheesecake, stop cutting what you have left into smaller pieces and serving at full price) DREADFUL.
Live Stream football and live soul singing do not mix.
AVOID like the PLAGUE!!

What a let down. Went to see Irie J sing. For some reason they put the football on at same time and sat us next to screen. Couldn?t hear Irie. Then they told us the table was double booked as our mains arrived and asked us to move to the table directly under ZtV which was the same size!!! We said no. Food was ok to start but thin sliver cheesecake was a joke. Generally bad service and ok food but a completely ridiculous day all in all. Won?t be going back

Fantastic village pub. Wonderful atmosphere. Great selection of beers and ciders.
Lovely food at very reasonable prices.
The staff were absolutely wonderfiul and even though it was very busy they were attentive throughout and nothing was too much trouble.
