Had a brickies burger and I have to say it was the best burger I have had in a very long time. Liz and Will are the perfect publicans , such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Stayed in their car park on the way to the ferry. There was a pub quiz in the main bar, sadly we're not good at quizzes but it made for a great atmosphere and the salmon was fabulous. The Swiss lady (also in a campervan) was extremely complimentary about the malbec.
Thank you for making our journey to the port SO much easier.

We stayed here in the carpark when we left the ferry at Harwich. The landlady is a wonderful host, sadly we were too late for food but we had drinks and met other people on their travels. A great little pub stop over. Minimum spend £15 for free parking overnight. Would definitely use again.

Bricklayers arms allows you to park your motorhome in carpark as long as you book a meal we stayed Saturday evening had lovely homecooked meal Liz the owner was so accommodating and freindly we booked in for Sunday luch.. well it was amazing all home cooked lots of variety of fresh vegetables. Also home made desserts especially the sherry trifle. A little gem of a pub

Called in with visiting friends for lunch. No food available so ordered a beer and 2 glasses of wine. The beer was ok but the wine was undrinkable.

This place is a real hidden gem. Food we had (Cod & chips) cooked to perfection. Dessert (apple & plum crumble & scoop of vanilla ice cream) absolutely delicious. Very welcoming atmosphere, highly sociable landlady, really handy if you have a motor home and you want to stop off on way to Harwich ferry. Highly recommend this place.
