We have been visiting the blue egg for a few years. I enjoyed the haloumi salad. This last visit I found that the haloumi portion had been cut really thin. More cost cutting ?

Lovely breakfast at the blue egg!
They also have an amazing play area for kids out back and some little jeep rides; which are at an extra cost.
Amazing spot to stop with the kids for a couple of hours.

It has a lovely play area. But there is really nothing else than that for the kids and it is quite far from everything.

Long wait and rude staff
We often go to the garden centre part and today we decided to try the cafe for the first time. All we ordered was a jacket potato and a pulled pork burger and we waited over 35 mins. When I went to enquire after 25 mins I was met with impatience and looks that could kill. I was told sternly ?you?re next? after they said that we still waited another 12 mins.
When the food did arrive it was warm only and tasted bland. The pulled pork tasted as if it had been heated from frozen.
The restaurant wasn?t full so they can?t say they were busy. We won?t be returning. Terribly rude staff and too long a wait

Great range of vegan food in Kneed Food! Huge vegan chicken burger, lovely roasted veg and tahini flatbread. Well priced and very generous portions. Friendly staff, nice outside seating, will definitely be back!
