Absolutely bad.
I asked politely if there are any cash registers as I wanted to pay with cash.
There was no queue.
It wasn?t busy at all, and the cash register was right there
she said no.
Only self check out by card.
Left the stuff and left .
Very bad service.

All i can do is echo other peoples thoughts and reviews about the staff being rude and unprofessional.
far from helpful and treat you like your lucky to be in their, its bloody zara for go sake not Harrods.
One can only hope that management read these reviews, however i doubt it

Rude and unprofessional staff at Zara, Lakeside.
It feels like staff are selected based on how rude they can be ? the ruder, the better.
Every time I return an online order in-store, I?m met with rude looks and sarcastic comments like ?You think the refund will be faster this way?? ? seriously?
Why should I feel uncomfortable or awkward just for returning an item? It?s my right as a customer. Yes, I choose to return my online orders in-store ? and no, it?s not about getting a faster refund!
If store policy doesn?t officially support online returns at the till, just explain that politely. But no ? the return is accepted, and I?m still treated like I?m begging for something.
What surprises me most is how short-sighted some staff are ? they send customers to the machines with such attitude, as if forgetting that soon those same machines might replace them.
Zara, teach your staff some basic manners and respect ? it?s long overdue.

Very long queues and rude staff. No one seems to want to help you. Had to speak to a floor and store manager who have No customer service.

Returns are AWFUL at this place , employees always disappearing , same every time I come , shouldn?t have to wait 30 minutes to return a shirt , in next it?s 5 mins max , absolute joke

Large open plan store large range of mens, women's and children's clothing available at reasonable prices. Fitting rooms available, can get busy especially at weekends. Recommended

New till system is bad purchased 4 items and got charged for the shorts twice, lucky I realised when in store, no apology , bad customer service , bad till systems

Went into Zara yesterday, staff were so rude & unhelpful. I asked a staff member for help finding an alternative size and she said they were sold out (abruptly & with a face like thunder). When I asked another staff member she rudely said she was busy (hanging clothes) then I asked another she checked her phone & said there were 2 available on the shop floor. Zara seriously need to train their shop staff, they are so rude/unhelpful & look as miserable as their models on their website. Makes me not want to buy from Zara there?s a lot of alternative competitive brands out there.

By far...the absolute worst. Returns, customer service, staff attitude, everything. I am honestly stunned as to how this place operates with the attitude of the staff and the manager. Definitely won't be going here again

Went for a shopping spree trip with my friend today, found something I wanted to try on in the changing room, after I?d finished I had a few clothes to put back, I went over to a member of staff to which she looked me up and down and said hang your clothes on the rail in such an attitude like I wash shocked ! I?d just been spoken to rudely in a previous shop by a member of staff?? I don?t normally make reviews like this but this literally happened twice all in lakeside I was disgusted

Zara customer service in lakeside is rubbish. I?m their customer from ages but never get any help straightway, their return instore is worse. They save self checkout( more than 10 booths) for buying stuff but in return tills only 2/3 people serve and they are super slow. Que goes most of the time out from ladies wear to men?s wear. How pathetic. It?s not anything free we are getting from them, we are spending our money but getting this absolute rubbish service. Not go to them from now at all.

They won?t ever sort the returns desk out. They deliberately take long so people will get fed up and leave. The queue is always to the middle of the shop and they are so slow so people get fed up. Standing there hanging every single piece of clothing back up. And people buy bags and bags of clothes then return it all! Miserable and unhelpful.
Genuinely not shopping here anymore, so fed up with waiting over an hour to return a pair of poxy jeans. No other shop has this issue, only Zara. Bloody ridiculous
