We travelled two hours to visit family in Essex, my sister booked our table of 6. Bar staff made an error and when talking to the male he said no didnt make an error. He consistently argued back resulting in me asking to see the manager. Manager Ros came over. I explained what had happened, she immediately sorted it and spoke to the bar man. She then took money off our bill and gave me a mini bottle of prosecco, wishing me a happy birthday. Ros there needs to be more mangers like yourself!! You are a wonderful woman, even taking the time to talk to us about where we live and thanking us for coming to TGI's you made our visit a great one.

The staff here were brilliant. The guy who served us was very friendly and couldn?t do enough. However when your paying over £24 for a steak you expect it to be a certain quality and at least edible. It actually smelt bad and the meat was dark grey. I have my steak blue-rare and have never had an issue. Not even at a whether spoons where it?s half the price. I really thought that paying as much as I did the food would be good. But this steak was absolutely horrible. Really the worst steak I?ve ever had. The staff however we?re really nice, it was my own fault that I didn?t complain. The staff were so nice and I knew it was not their fault so I didn?t want to have to complain and make a fuss. However the chef surely would?ve noticed the state of the meat and known it shouldn?t have been served. Really disappointed as this was my first visit to TGI Fridays. Never again

Went for family meal for my 30th our waiter Ben was so helpful really good service and got all our orders and making sure all our drinks were full

After sitting in 2 hours of traffic we arrived here to be greated at the door and seated by a lovely young lady. We were handed menus and we advised we didn't mind how long they took as we were in no rush as our trip home was impossible. We chatted with our waitress and her manager due to food allergies and they were both amazing and fully understood how much of a nightmare customer group we were. When our food arrived it was lovely, tasted good and was hot and well presented. The staff checked we were OK and the food was OK we advised all was good. We chatted to the 2 ladies after our dinner and had a bit of a giggle before finally being able to continue our journey. Top restaurant and top staff. We will return.

Came in for lunch on Saturday afternoon with family and had a great time! Food was so delicious and jack daniels sauce is incredible! Our server Victoria was such a nice girl from beginning to end! We will come back for sure, thank you for such a nice lunch!

We visited both TGI?s at Lakeside Thurrock on 17 December. We were 40 minutes late being seated at the quay side restaurant because the party before us were ?still sat? although our table was booked, so we had to wait and buy drinks at the bar. After being seated for 20 mins the fire alarm went off and we were asked to leave, being told we won?t have to pay for anything, however all drinks bought and paid for at the bar while waiting. We then decided to go to the other TGI at Lakeside. Another drink purchased while waiting for table to be ready. When seated it felt like we had been forgotten but finally they came to take our order. We then had to wait an hour for our food as our order went in after a party of 30. Surely they would have pre ordered their meals! When the food finally arrived, it was very disappointing, dry burnt chicken and dry burgers. Will never return to TGI

Came in for dinner with my friends and have to say I was pleasantly surprised how good it was. Food was hot and delicious and service provided by Victoria exceeded my expectations of customer service. We will be back when around Lakeside again!

We turned up at the wrong outlet of TGI's as two quite close together. That being said the staff were very accommodating and kind. Excellent servers and showed great warmth and professionalism.

Visited with my family after Christmas shopping around and it?s was brilliant from service to food and drinks! Server Victoria really made our visit special with balloons for kids and we never had to ask for refill it was always topped up! Thank you we will be back soon!

Such a lively experience at the lakeside TGIs. It has revived my confidence in this eatery. I attended the Romford one and it was appalling. Thank you Lynsey customer service was exceptional. Had a good knowledge of the food on offer and was very friendly but not pushy. A real asset to the company.

Always have a very good experience when I come here with friends or family. Attentive staff, good food. One of my favourite dishes is not in the menu anymore but was advised that I can still order it separately and it was fantastic
