Had a good time staying here, the room was fine, the bed was comfortable too. The breakfast was very good indeed, sadly they never had the kippers available off the menu. The hotel is going through a big refurbishment as of March. The staff were good, all round nice stay for a week here.

Fantastic hotel, friendly helpful staff, food was lovely, if I wanted to be picky the only downside was the shower water pressure, it was not the best but it was enough.

Stayed here for 2 nights, for work purposes, staff are really nice, room was more than adequate, after all it was a comfortable base while actually working on site. Highly recommended.

Had afternoon tea, plenty of delicious sandwiches and cakes, scones etc, served by the lovely Amanda, very enjoyable.

A lovely hotel with exceptional staff and service - I have to mention the wonderful Monica on reception who went above and beyond in her assistance. Thank you so much!

Went here for an NHS appointment which probably takes 20 minutes. You only get ten minutes free parking otherwise it's £1. No big deal. BUT! You have to go to reception which is a long way away and either up and down a lot of stairs or even further around the outside of the building (pouring with rain today). Took me a long time as I have mobility issues at present. No assistance apparent, just had to suffer (and still am, some hours later). So it could be better organised

We attended a wedding there and it was a lovely day. The rooms are a little tired but the service and breakfast made up for it.

Probably the most expensive 'halls' we have ever stayed in. Took me back to living in halls of residence at uni, 1 star at best. Room was so basic for the astronomically price.

We had our wedding at Stifford Hall Hotel and we can honestly say we are so glad we chose this venue to have our special day at. The help and patience and everything Joanne and Amanda and the team done for us was above and beyond, nothing was a problem , everyone who worked there were polite, friendly and very helpful. The food was stunning, the way they orchestrated the whole wedding to run so smoothly was amazing and many of our friends and family have said how the day flowed so well and how great the food was. Would highly recommend this venue as they really do make the day feel so special.

The hotel is very convenient for an overnight stay before a cruise from Tilbury which is only a short taxi trip away. It is also a venue for weddings and it looks like it would work well with a lovely outside area. Breakfast was excellent. There is a good choice for dinner with separate restaurant and bar menus. The hotel is very comfortable with a lot of ground floor rooms. Parking is not free but costs £3. Stifford is a pretty village and I enjoyed a walk around it.
