The food was really good the service was very helpful due to the fact that I had hair in my pizza they was very quick to act upon the situation and apologised for the mistake and given me a refund but when the second pizza came out clean and better but I appreciate the two waitresses that responded and helped me and my wife

Too expensive to be a freshly baked pizza. Sorry, It didn?t look or taste like one, I could have got something similar for £5 at Tesco?s. Not sure if these are stone baked or wood fire baked, they taste like they have been bought from a shop and put in the oven.

Dirty cutlery
Dirty tables and chairs , crumbs everywhere.
On asking to clean the table they spray cleaning fluid in your face!
Food was bland!!
I will not be going back to any pizza express.
8 members of staff wondering around doing nothing to check, expect mr donnell was amazing staff so attentive and kind running around to help

I felt cheated out off £63, pizza tasted like Iceland pizza cheap and nasty. Vanilla cheese cake was tastless. First and last time I would eat from pizza express. Should off gone to pizza hut.

Booked a table online for a children?s birthday. Arrived 25 minutes early. Asked if we could be seated earlier, as there were a number of empty tables available (albeit no-one had cleared / cleaned any of them); was told by a stressed / unprofessional manager to go and wait in line with everyone else. Stood in the queue for 10 minutes only to be told rudely that we still had to wait 15 minutes until the exact time booked. No explanation or compromise given. Very poor customer service. Voted with our feet and went to Prezzo nearby. Got seated immediately.

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had in a pizza express, went and sat down at 1,45 ,had to get up at 2,30 and ask for my order to be taken 3pm asked about food ,and when the waiting staff asked the cooks they giggled finally got food at 3,15 and walked out at 3,30 , so not so much of a fast service definitely not worth paying £58.50 for

Popped in for lunch today and left feeling disappointed and frustrated. After being seated while it was fairly quiet at around 11:30, we were served drinks and our starter within a reasonable time - however, it then took 40 minutes + after the starter for our mains to arrive, only to arrive cold and either burnt or undercooked. Two of our party only ordered starters as mains (which was clearly identified when ordering) so for two pasta dishes and a few starters to take so long and be unpleasant and somewhat inedible seems ludicrous. Especially as the restaurant filled up and others around us receiving starters and mains before us, while having arrived after we ordered? Staff were unhelpful and seemingly forgot about us, with no apologies made at any point.
Never had an issue with Pizza Express before, so it must be a location issue, would not recommend to anyone.

This place has really fell off and is not as likeable and high quality as before . Firstly , the workers only took oblique details of what we ordered but never gave precisely what we desired . Secondly , food like the chicken wielded a raw , uncooked and not fresh flavour as if it was cooked a multitude of days ago .
