If you're lining up to see anyone at the front desk by the entrance you're told to sit and wait, and yet anyone that doesn't know that ends up waiting by the wall near the desk and you end up letting them know (as if you work there) so that you don't get cut in line.
First off, there seems to be only one person ever at the computer, and it takes a long time to get everyones issues helped or fixed. I waited 40 minutes for someone to help me while telling people who had just turned up to see the same person that there's a line and that others are waiting. Natwest seriously needs some kind of sign or ticket system to let customers know that it was so annoying waiting for so long and then having someone just turn up and cut in front of you.

Hi, I got an Order change for this branch and forgot my card at home. I showed my identity card and the online barking lady didn't care I used to try before Chadwell Heath now closed they helped me. I can't take my money without a card. Very strange

Worst NatWest bar none! I would give it zero stars but unfortunately 1 is the minimum. Customer service is atrocious! They want everything done online so we don?t darken their doorstop, make it very difficult to pay a bill over the counter. Not all customers have access to the internet you know, elderly people etc. and now they?re not even open on Saturdays! Because they?ve extended their weekdays by a whole extra hour! Wooooo. What about people that work all week? Absolute clowns ?

Came to deposit some cash, could'n do it because both deposit machines out of order and 1 cashier is dealing with thousand customers. Waste of time even for the simplest operation.

It would be nice if there was a person standing welcoming customers to deal with quick enquiries rather than having to wait in due just to hand in one form which takes 5 seconds.
Average time in Natwest it takes me about 5-10 mins whereas in other branches it's about 1 min.

I dislike this Natwest with a passion really! The plus side of it is its size, whatever the weather and however busy it is, you dont have to wait outside getting wet as there is plenty of room inside. You also have a fast pay system, where you put your money or cheque into an envelope with your details on and post into a secure box and it saves having to queue. However, I have found that the staff are generally always rude, focusing more on their conversations that what you want and that they tend to bend the rules how they fancy when head office say something different. Its one I avoid.
