Super bad customer service in this branch, especially from a lady working at the customer service desk in the men?s section. I was told by a staff member in the men?s section to take a pair of trousers to the till and they would be able to order my size for delivery, since it wasn?t available on display. However, when I went to the till, the lady there was clearly unhappy to help and told me they can?t order it, even though her own colleague had just said they could. Very poor service and a really disappointing experience

Always pop in if I am in Lakeside. Huge M&S. Nice food area although layout is a little confusing to locate anything.

Good store. Standards are high with display, however not ad much stock as other marks and spencers! However lovely staff as always.

Not moaning?.just a heads-up re menswear department in new Lakeside store. I bgt lots of clothes yesterday but the mirrors within the department had clothes racks 5-6 feet in front of them so it wasn?t easy to properly view jackets etc when standing 3 feet from the mirror. Move the racks or put the mirrors on the other side of the pillars please. Also, more mirrors please, I had to walk a long way to find one! Also, the self-checkout using Sparks took nearly 20 minutes. These things are just fyi?s?happy with the products.

Who on earth thought putting in self service payment/order machines in M&S cafe at Lakeside would be a good idea? Line of about 30 people, I left my husband in the line while I went to get a a table with my little boy who wanted to sit down. Was greeted at the front of the cafe by a very rude member of staff who literally stood in my way with her arms out and said I couldn?t sit down and had to wait in the line with my husband. Most of your customers are of the older generation none of which could understandably use the self service machines, what is the point of this? Idiotic idea. If I had my mum with me who is disabled and cannot stand for long periods of time would you have told me she couldn?t sit down??? This system does not work, it?s the most ridiculous idea and needs to change and while your at it train your staff members to be more polite, I run my own business and I would be mortified if any member of my staff spoke to a customer in this way. Shocking experience and I won?t be returning.
