Incredibly unfriendly staff. I have been here a few times, always expecting something better however the produce is on par with Lidl bakery. Im not sure what all the fuss is about? It is the only bakery / take away shop for quite a distance so maybe people dont realise there are better options outside of their postcode ????? wouldn't recommend purely because it is heavily overpriced for standard items and unfriendly atmosphere.

The products are great, the woman in the back shouting at people to line up correctly was extremely unpleasant and ruined the experience.

Costumer?s service unprofessional rude not paying only card the bakery products they?re delivered to the shop is not baked I have argue I did have card only cash we have to keep paying with cash option everywhere

Terrible experience! Overpriced and they packaged the pastry with cream inside of a plastic bag with paper, it all got stuck on the paper, it was a mess, I had to throw it away, the paper was stuck in the pastry, just not acceptable for the price I paid. The egg bagel had no filling it was just bread. HORRIBLE

As pointed by some others, the staff is quite unfriendly with no common sense at all. Ordered take away coffee and pastry(no plates or cutlery) and just last minute decided to sit down for 5 mins outside before going. All the tables were empty, no other customer.
The staff came out to point out that we said it is take away and were charged accordingly. Absolute non sense , nothing else!
They are just profiteering being the only coffee shop on the road.
Definitely will skip them for future.

I?ve been buying bread here for years ? it?s truly the best. However, the sweet pastries have gone downhill. They?re now so overloaded with sugar that it?s all you can taste, no matter what flavor you choose. I say this as someone who loves sugar ? but it?s just too much. I really hope they find the right balance again

The bread and coffee are ok but why in 2025 there are still bakeries that don't slice the bread for you or provide a carry beg to help you take things home? It's these small things that make customer experience great

My favourite part of living near here is being able to pop in everyday. This place feels like part of the community, for me at least. Besides the fact that the pastries are the best in London imo. Coffee is always on point. It?s hard to find places where you feel like a valued customer and you get that here. Proper gem in n1
