We went in yesterday to look at prams and car seats. We were extremely happy with the service provided by Geena. She was super helpful and provided us really good advise. We did not have a booking, and it was close to end of business, but Geena was patient, kind and considerate, and made our visit a pleasant one.

Store is clean and easy to navigate. The staff are helpful and there?s an elevator and toilet.
I bought a slim buggy from here (highly recommend, it?s the Libra and super slim when folded. Perfect for those 7seater cars with virtually no boot space when all seats are up) and I couldn?t find where I put the receipt.
I called in because I was unable to drive there due to C-section and lovely Shani picked up. She was able to locate my receipt number and even helped me navigate through my phone how to find the Apple wallet and last digits of card number for security verification which isn?t actually on my physical card. I?m so bad with tech and Shani made it easy.
She gave me my receipt number and mamas and papas account number so I can find it easier next time when I go to my local store. Thanks so much for having the best staff.

Everytime I have visited this store the customer service it's practically non existent, the sales assistants are always too busy chatting amongst themselves at the till. On one occasion myself and my husband spent 20mins looking at a pram before someone asked if we needed help at which point we had already figured out how it works, we went and purchased else where. On our most recent trip no greeting upon entering the store, 3 ladies chatting at the till and other customers had to go up and ask for help rather then be offered it from the sales assistants. I work in retail I know its nice to have a chat with ur colleagues but there's a balance between having a chat and making sure ur customers are looked after and that u are approachable to them. Love the brand but would just like to see the customer service improve it's not hard to say hello or check if someone's okay as u pass them.

I just wanted to share my recent experience at the Mamas & Papas store in Thurrock, and how truly impressed I was. I visited the store today due to an issue with my Libro stroller, and from the moment I walked in, the staff were incredibly attentive, polite, and genuinely caring.
They listened to my concerns without any hesitation and immediately arranged for the stroller to be sent off for repair. What really stood out to me and what I didn?t expect was that they offered me a loan stroller of the same model on the spot, without me even needing to ask. That level of thoughtfulness and initiative really meant a lot.
It?s so rare these days to come across such excellent customer service, where staff go above and beyond to ensure you?re looked after. I left the store feeling completely reassured and genuinely valued as a customer.
Massive thank you to the Lakeside team you?ve really raised the bar and turned what could have been a stressful situation into a positive one.

I had the pleasure of being served by Melissa on Monday 6th May in the Mamas & Papas store in Lakeside Retail Park. She was prompt in approaching my partner and I for assistance when looking to purchase a cot bed mattress and proceeded to go above and beyond for us when we explained our gift card had unfortunately expired by a matter of days. Melissa was quick to contact head office on our behalf prior to us leaving the store. Not even 24 hours later I have received an updated gift card. Melissa is an asset to your company and is true to her word when she says she will follow up and try and resolve any issues which isn?t always the case with other retail workers. Please extend our gratitude to Melissa her customer service is exceptional as I?m sure you are already aware.

Three shop assistants very unhelpful I asked twice where a pram was the second time I got a vague point! There was another shop assistant that was serving someone else. So unhelpful would not recommend ?

Shocking service. Staff totally disinterested and a stark contrast to the Crawley store .. the staff there this evening at 5.30pm couldn?t care less when looking for advice or pay for a very expensive I candy baby pram. Avoid this store at any cost !

From our experience today this place deserves a much better star rating on google than it currently has. Aurelija really helped us today and went above and beyond I think. The other staff were also friendly and helpful.

We went in search of a car seat which needed it to have quite long straps as our baby is much taller for his age.
Two of the young girls working in the store helped us with a car seat that looked quite large, but they suggested we speak with the ??car seat and pram expert?? in this store. This lady, I didn?t catch her name because she was unexpectedly very rude. She started shouting at us straight away ?I can?t sell you that one the police will have you arrested if you put baby in that??. She was keep repeating this over and over again, we didn?t even get the chance to say that we were just looking at the straps and the reason she got called was to recommend us something more suitable. After 10 minutes of her being agitated and shouting nonsense, we eventually managed to ask if she could recommend a suitable car seat. Then she goes saying??I don?t have any ??

We came in store to get help with car seats and prams as first time parents. Maria was so helpful and gave us a very detailed explanation of the models we were interested and also gave us her expert opinion on which products which should go for. She made sure to listen to us and what our needs were before showing us what she thought would be ideal for us. Overall great experience with Maria.
