went in today to ask for a printed statement which halifax had failed to send me so had to go here to get told they couldn't do it which is a lie as ive got printed statements from previous years from other halifax stores rude and unhelpful

Debbie in lakeside branch helped me enormously..As an older person not tec savvie I wasn?t getting the most out of my accounts.Debbie took me through every step, she was amazing.
Just to note my local branch in wickford told me they couldn?t help me and just gave me a sheet with options last year ..Debbie walked up to me while I was in the queue and asked if she could help?Fantastic customer service..Thank you Debbie x

I came to this branch before 2pm and was told that they cannot deal with my issue today, as I need to book an appointment. I asked to book an appointment but was told it is two weeks waiting list. So they never helped me to book any appointments. Instead, they advised me to come in the morning just before the opening and maybe someone will be available to sort out my issue. Very poor customer service. It's easier to transfer my money to a different bank!

Not the best first impression after joining Halifax online and needing to pay money into an account without a card because I signed up online the previous day.Had to wait 30-45 minutes after lining up in queue of customers in front prolonging our wait time because they fancy a chat, and there are only 2 in person tills at the front. One system goes down shortly after an attempt to resolve a customers problem after the first 15 minutes of waiting, so the the customer has to move over to the one and only till left to get her issues fixed, and after an attempt of trying multiple times after 20+ minutes.. the system goes down. Unbelievable.You would think they were really trying to help that one customer, but what really happened is that they annoyed everyone in the queue waiting.Maybe this was just one of those days but the management was poor today, the other staff on till could have helped the other staff having problems while another member of staff jumps on to the computer to keep the queue moving but instead we were told to go away after all that wait and it could take a minimum of 30 minutes to get the system back up.

Slow service. Employees walking around to try to reduce queue by asking what customers want, then telling them they?re in the right place to withdraw money. Doesn?t solve anything as we?re then just left in exactly the same situation. They could instead go and work behind the desk to deal with withdrawals which with actually help reduce the queue but they don?t.
