Waste of time !!!! Book an appointment online arrive for my so called dedicated time slot (you book online) only to be told walk in customers take priority and I?ll have to wait an hour & half !!! Pointless service !!! Refund sorted on spot won?t use these muppets again

New bike has a snapped brake calliper before even being ridden, potentially extremely dangerous. Not been contacted by store despite calling as soon as I got it home nearly 24 hours ago. Bike looks nice enough but concerned about the quality and lack of response from Halfords **Update ** Once I was able to speak to staff at the Lakeside store they were excellent and did everything possible to resolve this quickly and professionally. It?s a shame you get directed to a call centre and can?t just call the local store directly.

Was told they have 3 in stock from romford store.
Drove there none available.
They simply don't update there stock level.
Halfords are not what they used to be the level of service is going down hill.
You can no longer call the store direct
To do a visual check.
Complete waste of time I will not use halfords again.

When I went in I found it difficult to find anyone who worked there apart from the till person, I waited at the till, then saw a Halfords person walk in the front doors I went over to them, very helpful found me exactly what I needed, didn?t know much about the items they are selling which is a shame as knowledge is power, when in sales

Seriously poor. No staff on shop floor for more than 10 minutes, then when she finally Saunders downstairs serves everyone who'd arrived after me, first.
Management need to put a rocket behind them... plenty of people looking for work!

The parent and child bays outside are not enforced, this means people driving massive range rovers will park there because they can?t fit in normal bays. Send them a ticket.

I had a 14:00hrs appointment I arrived at 13:35. I went into the store and informed them I was there, I went in again at 14:05 to see if the camera guy was coming out. My guy came out to fit my camera at 14:20 and didn't actually start work until 14:30 a full 30 mins late for a 14:00 appointment.

Poor customer service. They should be checked by trading standards before trading. Untrained staff and the wolverine manager who cant hold any pressure. Waste of time and money no sorry no apologies

Booked my car for aircon diagnostics for 11:30 today 09/08/2024. Arrived around 11:35. Explained to the gentleman in the reception that my car was re-gassed on 31/05 via Halfords mobile service but noticed on Monday that aircon is completely not producing any cold air. I was told that due to shortage of staff, it will take atleast TWO HOURS. I understood the situation as it happens as well in the NHS where I work. Perry (I believe his name based on my vehicle report) told me that he will call me or come back after 2 hours for my car.
I came back after 3 hours only to find my car has not even been seen nor moved from where I parked it. He apologised again and said that he will fix my car immediately. I told him I understand and just waited patiently. Another white caucasian customer came in with a car airconditioning concern as well. Perry told him that after my car his car will be next and will only take ?ABOUT 45 MINUTES TO AN HOUR? to fix his car.
I waited another hour only to be told that he can not fix it. He also stated that their aircon technician is not working today and I need to come back next week anytime on a weekday to have it fixed. I told him I took a day off today to have it fixed and I can?t skip work again. They could have told me that they cannot do it as their technician and come back some other time and not waste TOTAL 4 HOURS waiting around the area. Worst, they sent an email that my car has been fixed (might be automated but it is ridiculous and insulting). Left the garage quiet thinking how to fix it and when, as I cant skip work again for it.
When I left the garage, it hit me that I have been discriminated. I have filed a complaint in their customer service and now thinking of seeking legal advice as this should stop.
