AVOID! When they delivered the sofa they put a hole in my ceiling, damaged door frames and damaged light fittings. I?ve been waiting 18 days for the ?warehouse manager? to call me back and resolve the damage they have caused. All they say is delivery is outsourced and not their responsibility but they?re the ones that arrange it with that company. Took £3k off me and have left permanent damages to my property. Absolute joke of a company. Having to escalate to trading standards and the ombudsman. Such poor service.

We have been looking for a dining room table and chairs for a while but until now haven't seen anything which we felt was an upgrade on our existing one. (our existing one was brought from Dansk) We walked into Furniture Village not expecting to find anything however we found a dining set we liked and even bought an additional bookcase/shelves in the same range. The quality of the table & chairs was by far the best we had seen. The sales consultant, Simeon was friendly, professional and a perfect mix of not being an in-your-face salesperson but being there to answer questions. He also let us know what offers were on without making us feel under pressure. I was grateful not to be met with the normal Hi guys, I am going to ask you a million small talk questions to try and sell to you approach. Simeon asked relevant questions to aid us in our decision-making process and had a logical, practical approach when we needed to decide between the type of chairs fo choose. I do believe that Simeon?s natural, calm approach was a big reason why we brought from Furniture Village and I would highly recommend him.

this store took payment from me in Nov 2023 and still has not delivered goods which has a delivery date in end of Jan/Feb start. When querying about the delivery the rude staff at Thurrok store is teaching me I do not have any consumer rights and they can take however long it takes to delivery goods and she hangs phone on me. This is absolutely terrible and not acceptable. If these tugs business has at all any credibility I ask them to contact me asap.

Nice and well stocked shop. The sales team are slightly too much and put us off purchasing from here as we found them to not leave us alone and think for ourselves. Instead they followed us like and drove us mad with bombardment of questions.

We had a wonderful experience today at Furniture Village in Thurrock. The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the sofas we were looking at, and Suzette in particular was very helpful in showing us the different features of various recliners, including adjustable headrests, blue tooth speakers and more. This helped us to make an informed choice about the sofas that would suit us best. Suzette was extremely patient, endlessly repeating info about dimensions and prices as we compared different products. We only went in to browse, but came out having purchased two sofas, and are very happy with them and with the price we have paid. We would highly recommend Furniture village to friends. And also thank you for the lovely coffees and hot chocolates you provided.
