Disappointing Experience with GP Services Due to Receptionist's Poor TreatmentMy today's experience with receptionist Mrs Kay Artur has left me deeply disappointed and frustrated due to the unprofessional and disrespectful behaviour. When I approached the desk the receptionist's impatience was palpable. Despite my clear explanations why I am there and my symptoms, I was met with an indifferent response without even listening to me fully. It was as if my concerns were inconveniencing her. Moreover, the tone of the receptionist's voice was condescending and dismissive throughout our interaction. She kept asking to repeat like she either could not hear me or she could not fully understand my english. This lack of empathy only added to my frustration and left me feeling disrespected as a patient. Furthermore, last week I called 413 times (I have proof on my phone) to manage to get an appointment with the GP. Their first question was: do you really need to see a doctor? We are busy!! Then the doctor rings me and half of my issues are being dismissed. I hope that the management of the clinic takes steps to address these issues and ensures that all patients are treated with the respect and compassion they

Always a great service, never have a problem getting an appointment, all staff medical and non medical are very helpful.Dr Aiub especially has been very caring and kind at a very difficult time.The nurses are brilliant, special thanks to Katy and Kelly who have been amazing.We have been with this surgery for years and would never change.

THE WORST RECEPTIONIST EVER. IM IN PAIN FOR 3 WEEKS HAVE DIALLED 111 SEVERAL TIMES. IM NOT IN ESSEX TO SEE MY GP AS IM ON A COURSE FOR WIRK YET THEY INSIST I NEED TK ATTEND AN APPOINTMENT WHICH I CAN NOT DO!!!! I HATE CALLING THIS SURGERY. VERY RUDE RECEPTIONISTS !!!!!!!

This is the most unprofessional GP that I have ever had to attend; if you want to book an appointment with them you'll have call them from 8:00am, after this time they put their telephones on busy and you will not get through. If you do get through to them at 8am it's not guaranteed you'll get an appointment, the receptionist will diagnose you while on the phone, even if you do not feel comfortable in speaking to someone not medically trained for example if you are felling chest pains they will not book you an appointment but rather tell you to go to the hospital and no matter how much you say want to the GP they will not book you in nor make the said refferal to the hospital themselves. If you ever were to go to this medical centre, when you walk to reception, you'll find the receptionist, a group of women sitting behind the glass nothing nothing and one in perticular, sitting by the far right sitting on the desktop acting as if she is working, while have a full blown conversation between them. Honestly if you live in the area I advise you to register with another GP.

Worst Admin staff i have ever experienced . They dont want to help at all.I tried to register and they done everything not to register me . They dont have printer and photocopier .They keep telling my pregnant wife that they wont treat her at all and GP was even shocked to hear that .Had to wait for 1 hour and then 30 minutes to speak to them .Horrible surgery.I am gonna report the surgery to CQC . Will you ?

Amazing service always. Never had to wait long for an appointment. All the doctors, other medical and non medical staff are extremely helpful. There have been many other gp surgeries where people hardly get an appointment and in the contrary, chafford hundred medical centre are doing their best to keep up with the work load. Kudos to the entire team.

Wife is 25weeks and 3 days pregnant with some pregnancy difficulties. We got there exactly 10.08am for a 10.00am registration appointment. We are not meant to see a GP. Just there to complete a registration. The lady at the reception named Cella, refused to attend to her. My wife explained her difficulties and BEGGED her to attend to her.. whilst the conversation was ongoing, my wife spat in her spit bag and the lady became very disgusted by it. I was shocked as I did not expect someone who works at a GP surgery to be disgusted by a pregnant woman's spitting in a bag. The surgery has a trapping of inhuman and inconsiderate ethics. They treat people with disdain and disrespect. Am sure Cella didn't even consider us human given the way she kept talking down on us. ..

I had a GP call from Dr Grewal who immediately seemed very impatient and wasn?t willing to listen to me explain my symptoms properly. He didn?t ask me any questions about my general health or provide medical advice. Instead quite argumentative and spoke in a rude, distressing manner when I tried to describe my symptoms that were obviously concerning and then hung up.I understand that you can refer me for these diagnostic tests but the way you speak to a patient feels untrained and dismissive. Worst experience I?ve had and it was only from a 3 minute phone call.

I so wish that all of these terrible reviews would help make a change. Sadly, it doesn't seem that way. All of these people cannot be colluding together, something must be seriously wrong with this practice. We deserve much better. I am sad to say that I have often been met with downright rudeness from the receptionists (not all of them) but at times it has almost left me in tears, when I have been so worried about the health of my children. Worse than that, a while ago I saw an older, male doctor (no women doctors available) about something incredibly personal and worrying but was not taken seriously at all. After examining me and being incredibly patronizing, he then went on to ask me 'So, what do you do for fun?' - like I was being overly dramatic and needed to lighten up! Really?! I was worried I had cancer and was following advice on getting myself checked out - I was left speechless at his attitude. I dread making appointments and always brace myself for an onslaught of rudeness whenever I finally manage to get through on the phone.

Excellent practice. All staff and GPs are most helpful. Special thanks to Dr Evans, she is the most kind, reassuring and understanding. She always gave us the time we needed, all my family members are her patients. Thank you!

Worried about an ailment, I went in there at 8.00 in the morning. No one else in there. Rude, off receptionist who made me feel like an outright nuisance. If you don't like the job love, don't do it. Phone call appointment only.

Some of the receptionists are lovely and others are completely rude and no compassion whatsoever. Really takes away from those who are helpful and kind. First lady I spoke to today was patronising and rude, the second lady was helpful and more than nice enough. Unsure how some of their staff still have a job.

Receptionist are honestly useless. Every single time I call I?m waiting on the phone for near to an hour. Never any appointments. I?ve sat and watched them at previous appointments just ignoring the phone having a natter to each other. Very rude and ignorant.

Extremely Rude and unhelpful receptionist called Jackie.Not willing to help with my repeat prescription as I'm a heart patient. I had to beg n be on my knees to get a repeat prescription.If you're not happy doing what you do then find yourself another job. Rather than being rude to the poor patients. Jackie should be sacked on the spot. As she doesn't have any phone manners.Thank you.Met the rudest receptionist Jackie on this planet earth at the doctor's surgery again (26Aug2022).Took my son there for his life saving injection which he has to have every single day. Even being a heart patient myself I was very rudely n forcefully told to wear a mask. Where are the manners n caring for your patients culture disappeared to??Rather surprised to see the attitude n anger on her face. Please do not do the job if you don't enjoy doing it.Rather than stressing poor patients with your horrible attitude.Thank you12th Sep2022... Another update unfortunately.Took my Son to the surgery today for his life saving injection and he's barely able to walk with the help of a Zimmer frame.I only wanted to help him simply by opening the door, so he could see the nurse to get his injection done.I don't even go inside the room never.The rudest receptionist by the name of CELIA pounced on me like a Vulture on a dead piece of meat, rather than attending the patient at the reception, and shouted in a very loud manner with her eye balls popping out that I wasn't allowed to do that, like I was a small kid going in there to play for fun.Hmmmmm they're not willing to help to assist the patients in any way, what if I helped my son to open the door so he could get to see the nurse. I'm sure legally it's not a crime.I'm rather depressed by their attitude n such a poor behaviour against the innocent patients and their families.I'm not sure who to complain too, as lodging a complaint at the surgery never works.Is there anyone who can help please, to guide me in the right direction??It's a humble request, and your help would be greatly appreciated.Thank you.25th July 2023Jackie the rudest and most unhelpful receptionist was SOOOO rude, although I greeted her saying good morning with a smile, and her reaction was like, I was speaking a foreign language. She pretended to play deaf with a ton of anger on her face. What's exactly wrong with her attitude?All I wanted to do was drop off a letter from my optician as I was recommended new eye drops.I very kindly requested her to photocopy the prescription so I could keep a copy for my records.But she refused to do it rather bluntly. Which shocked me.What's wrong with the human race these days. Having manners and being humble doesn't cost anything.Thank you.
