“We really enjoyed the food and the setting by the lake of this restaurant. We shared meals from the Tapas menu and had a variety of drinks, the food itself was excellent. However we did have a few issues with the service. We placed our drinks and food order at the same time but the food arrived before the drinks! But our server did notice this and consequently those drinks were comped so we did not have to pay for them. Later I ordered two drinks which the server returned to advise that they did not have, this should have been known when taking the orders, and my wife ordered an Americano and received an Espresso. We had at least five different servers during our meal which is probably why the service was a bit random. However we would definitely return if visiting Lakeside again.”

“Been to Clintons a few times recently and one of the ladies at the till was so lovely and helpful. She was so pleasant with a lovely demeanour. I had to write this review completely unsolicited just to recognise her. I will make sure to get her name next time, I didn’t see a name badge.”
