Went for Sunday lunch yesterday and it was hands down the best Sunday roast I have had in as long as I can remember. Beautifully fresh and gorgeous veggies, not the usual peas carrots and one other, instead homemade cauliflower cheese, really cheesy, red cabbage, parsnips, baby carrots and a really good gravy, even pigs... read full comment

Great village pub, park next to it perfect to send kids of to so you can get 5 minutes peace and enjoy a nice pint of cider

The Horse and Groom is located in the lovely Essex village of Cornish Hall End. We are a dog-friendly pub with a family friendly restaurant, roaring fires, a central bar and a warm welcome.
We are also a great place to stop for an excellent cup of coffee or to treat yourself to afternoon tea, with or without Prosecco, in our comfortable sofa filled lounge area right by the fire.
