I had the worst shopping experience in my entire life with the Amara webshop. The service was always helpful, but ultimately couldn't solve the delivery problems, at all. A replacement delivery was then partially defective. This defect was refunded to me as a voucher. However, I let it expire because after many months of waiting, worrying, making inquiries etc., I was pretty much at the end of my tether.

Update: no reply, no support, no refund! Don?t order or check out as a guest! Been few months now!Terrible customer service. Can?t log in into my account, can?t get in touch with anyone, apart from a robot. No one is replying. I?ve sent an item back and never got a refund.

I ordered a Tiipii bed from Amara that has developed tears and frays after a months use. Initially Amara customer service offered to refund or exchange. In their next correspondence they offered to discount & refund for any professional cleaning/repair charges or return the item for a full refund. I requested an exchange. They then offered (again) for me to get the item repaired and they would offer a partial refund. I again said that I would prefer an exchange as the repairs would be extensive and would look like a patch work. I was then informed they no longer stock the item. I was then informed that they had made contact with the manufacturers who confirmed the damages were 'cosmetic and do not affect its integrity' and that nothing further could be done. I am now in contact with CAB in order to get a satisfactory solution to this unsatisfactory issue.

Awful company. Dispatch times are unacceptable. 11 days no dispatch email in sight. Constantly same excuse ? we are busy?. If you so busy why don?t you employ more staff or don?t do sales if your logistics can?t cope. They are letting down hundreds of customers who won?t receive their gifts on time to wrap or to post them to i redes recipients for Christmas. Disgusting people. Hope your revenues will fall after this. You could pay me I wouldn?t shop here again .

After dealing with the customer service of Amara twice I can echo others in how fantastic they dealt with my problem. First Sasha and then Emily both were the utmost professionals, courteous and understanding and managed to resolve my issue, item is fabulous quality. Great experience and would highly recommend Amara.

Absolutely love this site - really lovely selection of goodies for the home - it is now my good to site for new furnishings, lights, rugs etc. Had a small issue with a piece of furniture that was delivered and the customer service I received (from a lovely person called Daisy) was second to none. Recommend them whole-heartedly.

A beautiful range of products, but this shop cons you with the pricing. I was in search of 2 cushions, but 1 wasn?t in stock. I asked customer service when to expect it. I waited, didn?t receive a stock alert and when I checked myself it was in stock again, but now the other cushion was out of stock. I asked customer service again. Much earlier then told the cushion was in stock again, again I knew because I checked every day. But now the sale pricing was not applicable anymore. I asked customer service for the saleprice and I had to pay first and then receive an amount back. This was 3 euro?s! So the ?old? price during ?sale? was greatly heightened to make the sale price seem more attractive. This is straightout lying! The cushions were sent and then returned without receiving them. I never had them! Now months later I see they are in ?sale? again, they are 30 euro?s more expensive than their normal price!!! I had to pay 100 months before (during sale) and now the price would be 130 (again during sale). Hahaha what a con artists.

Ordered a Joseph Joseph bin, fast delivery but a ridiculous amount of packaging. The bin was in its own branded box, then in two boxes taped together and surrounded with great wads of brown paper. A piece of decent bubblewrap around the branded box would have been sufficient.

Amara?s customer service is excellent. Packages are always packed beautifully and securely, and delivery is super fast. I love their range and have bought several simplehuman items including wall hung and freestanding light-up mirrors, and sensor soap pump dispensers. They have all proved brilliant. This month I bought a duvet by The Fine Bedding Company and it arrived extremely quickly and is wonderful. I can?t fault Amara ? they are a fantastic company.
