The produce, quality and selection of food is excellent. Specifically the fresh vegetables. The only way they could be more fresh is if you brought it from the farm it was grown from.
There is a bakery in store too. With fresh bread and pastries baked in store same day, that taste and smell amazing. The fresh morning rolls are delicious.
The sell-by dates on the meals have on average a week before they need to be used. Which gives you plenty of options if you want to stock up well in the kitchen. Most supermarkets only have 3 to 4 days from when brought to when they need to be used. Another reason why this M&S is a great place to shop for groceries.
M&S Epping gets a 5 stars from me. It might be a little bit more expensive compared to the main supermarkets. But given inflation, and the fact you're getting quality produce, its more than worth it.

Staff are also very friendly, store is clean and always well stocked, I?ve had a few special requests due to sickness and they?ve always fulfilled my needs. Great store all round :)

Awful service for Christmas food order collection. Staff wouldn't let you join the queue early even though they weren't serving anyone. When the slot opened the queue was very long, the food wasn't on the shelves ready to be picked and was extremely slow. The till broke down and the gentleman in front of me was told cash only. Finally took us all the way through the store to pay but still didn't seem to know what they were doing and didn't bother explaining to those of us in the queue what was going on

Generally OK, however, the self scan tills are never generally all open and the biggest issue is they have no entry / exit signs at these tills and it can quite easily become a bit of a free for all.Since the previous store manager left (It seemed like he was there for less than a year) quite a noticeable change for the worst.
